Vinnie Vincent scheduled to make rare public appearance at Chiller Theatre Expo on October 24th & 25th

Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent is scheduled to make a rare public appearance at the Chiller Theatre Expo on October 24th, and 25th, 2025.

The Chiller Theatre Expo will take place at the Hilton Parsippany in New Jersey, USA from October 24th to 26th, 2025.

After many years away from the limelight, Vincent made his return to public life with an appearance at the Atlanta KISS Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, USA on January 20, 2018.

Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Vincent‘s appearance at the Atlanta KISS Expo: “Now I will admit that when we were considering attending the 2018 Atlanta KISS Expo, it was mainly out of the same curiosity as a lot of people. I too was curious what Vincent would look like and after all the rumours, I also wondered if come the day of the Expo, it would actually happen. For years, the world had heard nothing but strange things about Vinnie from everyone including members of former bands and the press, so it was kind of easy to buy into the whole “well if it wasn’t true, then EVERYONE wouldn’t be saying the same things about him” mentality. While Vinnie saying otherwise doesn’t necessarily make it true, the guy’s sense of vulnerability and sincerity came across as extremely believable. The Q&A session that I half-heartedly figured could end up being merely a cash in with very little return ended up easily being the highlight of the Expo.

If ever there was an example of emotional overload, Vinnie‘s time on stage and direct eye-to-eye, heart-to-heart discussion with the fans was it. Seemingly, he held little back even at times near or at tears with the fans vocally lifting him up each time. If there was even a small positive to come out of the Expo, perhaps it was that despite all the issues in the world, people can bring together the things we all share in the battles of everyday life and support each other regardless of differences or opinions. At the 2018 Atlanta KISS Expo, Vinnie finally got to say his peace to the fans as well as own up to his faults which drew nothing but support from a fan base that realize that they themselves are filled with as many faults as the next person.”

They've done a little bit before, so maybe they'll do it again.

It does seem that all this really is is a coincidence that they are both at the same Expo, they'll just be there signing things etc, in different areas. I wouldn't bill it as a reunion when they could really do that properly. Except it hasn't happened, though it was supposed to, like a lot of things.

Like the Australian tour, what happened to that? Ah well....

Robert hasn't seen Vinnie since Atlanta and has stated he won't be performing. Fairly obvious as that's not what this event is about, it's a meet and greet, but somebody did ask and he responded.

I'm sure it's intended as a harmless lie since it's aimed at his overseas fanbase who are unlikely to be able to travel to USA now.

Yes, I think that's exactly what it is. You would go and pay depending on the cost and the people inside you might want to get something signed with.

Obviously it's not going to be set up for performances between old band mates and Robert has stated he won't be performing, so his fans know what to expect.

CHILLER ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear VINNIE VINCENT fans.
I am very disappointed to report to all my fans that due to contractual reasons I am unable to appear at Chiller in October in New Jersey. I had hoped to see you all there as it has been too long!
Earlier this month after attempts by my lawyer (and me) to work out details of my appearance, I informed Chiller I was reluctantly withdrawing from my agreement to appear at this great event. Subsequently, I was contacted by others in the Chiller organization, but they declined to engage my lawyer and try to bridge our professional and polite disagreement on the terms of my appearance over the two days. They were advised in early September the overreach to the contract language was a deaI breaker. My attorney attempted to resuscitate the agreement but they declined and I've agreed to return the modest advance in kind. I am heartbroken by this as I was looking forward to meeting you, the fans, and reuniting with my dear friend Robert Fleischman for a surprise reunion mini show. Please know I did everything in my power to work this out. I have kept the door open all this time with Chiller in hopes that we could come to terms, but feel I must inform you all now because by all indications, I will not be appearing. We "may" give it one more try, and if talks are fruitful I will update immediately. I am working with one of the organizers on an alternative appearance in the near future and will keep you, my most precious fans, informed once details are more solid.

Vinnie, I hate the break this to you, but you are not up there with Taylor Swift or Harrison Ford.

- You do not need a lawyer to "engage" with Chiller Expo.
- I'd be refusing to engage with your lawyer too.
- Most normal people would have agreed terms before announcing their appearance at such an event.

The optics of this to everyone - Chiller and fans - absolutely stink.

But look on the bright side, maybe you could spend the two days doing something to progress the long lost boxset instead?

The optics are indeed pretty clear. Vinnie agreed to appear at Chiller, Vinnie subsequently "pulled a Vinnie Vincent" and tried to change the deal and then it all fell apart. Like many other deals he has "Vinnied" over the course of his life.

This statement, the way it's written, only makes things worse.

Firstly that lawyer has been a vv fans for decades even getting banned on the private forums for leaning stuff over 10 years ago.

2. Anyone who books appearances with a lawyer is not getting the gig

3. Robert has said more bad things about Vinnie than kiss and vvi members combined yet he is still a "dear friend " even though Robert used to get the lawyer letter goodbye like everyone vv falls out with.

4. Vinnie can't play well anymore so clearly he is never going to play live.

5. The only fans vv has are kiss fans who wear kiss diapers.

All this pointless, gonna play posts, when they can't play, and of course there is the added problem of lying that there was a Robert reunion, so lots of reasons for Vinnie to cancel.

Maybe Robert's comments have caught up with Vinnie and he's on the list too now?
