When did Vinnie Vincent finally give up on music business?

I was watching 1996 videos yesterday and saw him pretty happy doing the conventions
and i think waiting for KISS to call, i think he was waiting for story repeat itself and that's why
he went out and did make up conventions. One year later we saw him do a press conference
(which i would love to see) and he was really mad. Seems like after 1997 he gave up totally on music.
Never a new release, no more recordings, anything, how can a beautifully talented man let all of that go?
It was his passion, i would love to know his side, a book or something. Seems that he doesnt want to speak anymore.

It seems as if if wants to put little to no effort into anything anymore yet charge top dollar to the most loyal of fans for things that cost pennies to make.

To be honest I think he thinks selling t shirts and picks that he has made a come back into music.
My theory is he quits the moment things get tough blaming kiss, fans or people in his life.

Please let me reiterate , I am very happy for Vinnie and the fans that are receiving their merchandise. I hope this is the BABY STEPS needed to get the music out, get Vinnie performing, and talking to people as himself again.

I hope he extends the generosity he has given to some, to the fans that have money invested in him.
I hope he makes good with Tom Palecki.
