'I'm Gonna Marry Vinnie Vincent' Play Is A Hit In Sweden - July 12, 2008
According to the Swedish newspaper Norrländska Socialdemokraten, a theater play called "I'm Gonna Marry Vinnie Vincent" is playing to full houses in the north of Sweden in a city called Haparanda. The play centers around five 40-something former rocker chicks who reunite in an attempt to recapture the feeling they had during the early '80s when KISS was at the height of its success.
When the play starts, 25 years has passed since the girls last met. Now time has taken its toll and Jessica — whose "first love" was one-time KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent — is bitterly divorced from her rich ex-husband Per who left her for a younger woman.
Jessica devises a plan to steal her ex-husband's money and go to the USA to meet her teen love Vinnie Vincent.
"I'm gonna marry Vinnie Vincent," Jessica cries and stretches her arms towards the sky.
For more information on the play (in Swedish), visit the Norrländska Socialdemokraten web site.
Anyone see the hit play "I'm Gonna Marry Vinnie Vincent"?

No, heard of it, but never saw anything from it.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

I'm sure Brainsaw has articles that show it was the fastest selling ticketed show in the history of plays. Proving once and for all that Vinnie was the most popular rock star from the 80s and that the only reason his albums aren't "certified" gold is because of a conspiracy between the record companies, KISS and RIAA.

This has been discussed here before, there is a thread about it.
We are a little amazed when we heard about it, but soon got over it and moved on with our lives.

I'm sure it's the most requested play in history and Brainsaw has the stats from some website to prove it. Probably http://www.brainsawfuckedamarshmallowonce.com

I'm gonna write a book. I'm changing my name to Pauline Sheldon.....

Maybe we should use that Gene Simmons language translation stuff and see if we can find it in Swedish..Genebaby wrote:I don't think it made it to You Tube.
