hey. if vv wrote the lyrics to hear of chrome (the ones that the hard rock bought) how come Paul doesn't know the lyrics?

Maybe since Paul and Vinnie were collaborating on this song, Vinnie wrote the lyrics and Paul wrote the music. If this would be so, that could explain that this demo would be Paul's music demo, getting an idea down for the melody of Vinnie's words?
