Sammy, pointed this out to me days ago. Vinnie BLACKENED the text making it look like the restriction was off.
I just saw it.
Now I have to go and change my pants.

I wonder if he sometimes re-programmes the front page to a 'fake' login sectin that he can get access to our logins/passwords?

He does not have the capability to find out passwords. While the login was in black writing you would have been able to get in but all accounts have been locked or deleted. He woukd have to unlock your account for you to log in.
The only personal info he will have is your email and first and last ip address you used and what operating system eg. Windows, MAC, Linux.
He can get in himself of course.
If he wanted to sign up someone new he would haVe to open up the login. Even for a new vv alias.
He may have been playing a game too. I will say this.. I believe he secretly enjoys people watching his every move as well as hating it.
I turned off the pm function when vv came on board as it is possible for him to read pms. I think that is a bad part about snitz forums. (Forumco is basically just using open software by snitz boards) padriac the owner is a folk rock musician in Dublin who basically just set Forumco up in his house . He had to delete most accounts a few years ago because he couldn't cope with the numbers.
That board will never be up and running again unless he gets a few asskissers together in a private board.

The other issue with Forumco is the Google bot and yahoo slup get in, even to private boards. We had on the dv board in the private section get out on a Google search as well as some pms .
