I've tried but just can't like them. Back in the day there was so much talk about Gretchen goes to Nebraska and how it was an album you must have. I managed to pick up the first album at a local shop (which was a huge surprise for me in 1990!) and after 2 listens, I never wanted to hear it again.
Finally listened to "Gretchen" on YT while at work on Saturday and after the third song, I switched over to a Greg Howe album. Can't like 'em all I guess. My 2 cents anyhoo.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change.Now only a shadow remains!
