What's your current ear worm?
Thought this would be a fun topic to post. Right now I'm jamming:
Re: What's your current ear worm?
I am not listening to anything specifically atm. Typically I connect my phone to my cars bluetooth and play mp3s through the speaker organized by song title. That way I dont have to mess with artist selection when I am driving......which can only be done by taking your eyes off the road.

Steel Panther "All You Can Eat".
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

I've now taken a major jump back in time and really like Fleetwood Mac - Rumours,
I've never listened to it before and it has some tasty finger picking worth trying at some stage

Got any fav's Kev? (presuming you've got them all??)
Re: What's your current ear worm?
Jas,
I like HOL but for me it is kind of like I will really dig 3 or 4 songs on each album not all the songs

Not necessarily BOC's best album, but I've always dug it a good bit. Finally got it remastered, and it's thankfully the best the record has ever sounded.

One of the best songs Blackie Lawless has ever penned. Dominator in general is a great release. Spectacular return to form after that Neon God "let's forcefully write another concept album" fiasco.AnkhWarrior wrote:Heaven's Hung In Black by W.A.S.P.. Been listening to it repeatedly.

Only recently have I really gotten into W.A.S.P. Very rare when I find a band where I like nearly every song. This is one of them! Blackie needs to come tour U.S!

That first Blue Murder Album is one of my all time favorites! For me that is one of those rare collections where I like every song and I think that there are some true classics here. The musicianship by all 3 of them is solid!
Ezo is an interesting band too produced by Chaim Witz I believe that really had a killer an unique sound. They don't sound like many other bands from that time period but were still definitely part of the genre.
Great Post and Share!

Yes Kev, not one bad tune on that debut Blue Murder... Out of Love should've been HUGE for the time period!
But nope, Every Fucking Rose Has Its Fucking Thorn was the go to ballad... people fucking suck.

Kinda odd you should be singing a tune Carmine Appice helped write after I listed Blue Murder and Dino listed Paul Stanley's '78 solo album...AnkhWarrior wrote:If ya want my body and ya think Im sexy, come on suga let me know. If ya really need me, just reach out and touch me

Never heard the song "Back for the Attack" before, so thanks for that. Love the album by that name though! The song sounded more it belonged on "Under Lock & Key" to my ears.
Been listening to the second Lynch Mob album in my car for the last few weeks!
Fantastic power ballad and oh man...........WHAT A SOLO!!!!! Tasty as!

Re: What's your current ear worm?
It actually is from the "Under Lock and Key" sessions. They decided to name the next album after it, and then it was used as the b-side to Dream Warriors. When they actually went and did the album though, they've never mentioned why that song wasn't included on the album. I know it was added to the disc on the 2009 remaster, but you only used to be able to get it on their 94 Japanese best of disc or the original single. Great song though, a shame it never got a proper album release at the time. I love those 2 Lynch Mob records. Great stuff!shramiac wrote:Never heard the song "Back for the Attack" before, so thanks for that. Love the album by that name though! Just discovered this one. Pretty cool NWOBHM inspired stuff out of Sweden. Kinda sounds like Paul Di'anno singing for Thin Lizzy.

Actually some great musicianship on the album but King's vocals...... I usually end up laughing.

After liking Hi in Fidelity for so long I've discovered the rest of Reo's back catalog. A lot I like, some I don't, typically the early stuff (some bands like Kiss killed from day one, others seemed to take some time, at least to me) and some I've yet to listen to.

Hi Infidelity! Loved that entire album Vic
Re: What's your current ear worm?
So did I, but I think I like the next album, Good Trouble, which the above song is from, more.
Nine Lives is also good, the one before HiFi.
Kevin Cronin has an amazing voice.
