You'll never, never know unless you give it a go!!!
Hey Nick! I can see Vic swaying towards an Ibi! There's some movement there!

Well, I did say the 505 Jem was interesting in that other thread. Now all that needs to happen is someone has to send me one!!

For those of you who just can't get enough of my understated style (or my Charvel Flame Up maybe), here are some more videos of when I was with the band last year.

Thanks guys, and Kev, that Charvel certainly was a good buy. When Tommy is older I'll look into joining a band again.

Re: My band, 4th Degree - Live!
Ok fellow VVFF peeps, I'll give you the scoop right here.
I'm putting the band back together again!!!
This is my band before 4th Degree, the one I ran that we couldn't replace our singer so eventually went our separate ways.
Myself and the bass player still have the PA and rather than sell it for peanuts we decided to keep it "in case" we ever needed it and now it seems he's cool to gig again so I began to think of singers and drummers.
I got in touch with our old singer who was really good and it turns out that with her kids being a bit older she is hella keen to play with us again! Singer problem solved!
I thought one of our previous fill in drummers would be a shoe in as he's in an originals band and is keen enough to do something on the side. Turns out he already has something on the side and the originals band is busier than I thought. He's keen to jam with us but can't really commit much passed that.
Our old drummer, who's friends with the guy above, is available but is not as suited so I was looking through the want ads and came upon a brand new drummer available ad from a 17 year old who I was just in touch with that sounds promising to jam with at least to see how he is.
My only concern is how reliable he is, if he's a decent enough player, which he says he is as he's been playing since he was 11. When I was 34, lol!!!
The trick this time around, especially after leaving 4th Degree last year, is that we are most likely going to play only the best venue in town, so we'll give probably less than once a month, unless they call us in like they used to at the last minute.
Being cool with gigging less often ties in perfectly with the fact that there are so many less venues around here since I started in bands, so sticking with the best gig in town when we do play is the plan.
Looks like I'll get to give that red Charvel I just got some stage time along with her Flame Up sibling.

Re: My band, 4th Degree - Live!
Thanks guys. This has certainly escalated quite faster than I thought. Initially I thought we had the drummer in the bag and it would take ages to find a decent singer, as I wasn't going to compromise so I figured it might take until some time next year before we had a singer.
Now we are ready to jam in a week or two to see how things are going and to test out this drummer. He's all set so we'll either play a few tunes next week or the week after.

We don't have a name yet but when we do I'll set something up. I always wonder if friends will unlike something if I leave. I think some people didn't notice or get the news maybe.
Our agenda is very easy going, only wanting to gig occasionally as opposed to as much as possible.

I have a feeling it may be taken, so cool it is that it surely can't have lasted long.

Nothing to do with the new band mind you, just a new nickname!
