What next for vv
What next for vv
Well t shirt will flop without anything it's promoting.
He said musuc is cancelled for 3rd or 4th time.
What can he do?
1. Session
2. Try to sell tunes (unlikely at his rates)
3 put out gfh
4. Put out demos (will not really make money)
5 put out and or record something new
6 do clinics or perform
7. Write a book
8 sell vintage guitars (bad time.. I truly think even vv first vv model jackson would struggle to get 10k.
Most of those are not viable and maybe other than book and maybe gfh nothing will make money and even gfh Will not make much.

First off he needs therapy or medication... everything else would hopefully fall into place afterwards. Whether its releasing music or just gettin' outta his house every day.

Vinnie is doing what he does best. talks a big game, but does nothing!
Re: What next for vv
I actually feel now not a chance in he'll anything other than maybe t shirts from vv. He is doing it ass backwards. I really believe he doesn't have gfh ready. I would love to hear the 1990 version mastered rather than the cheap drum machine tinkered version but i am not sure he has it ready.
The demos are just a bonus they will do very little for vv like speedball jam. My guess is vv will have to do something unless his virginia lynne louis XIV imports hold him over. Or her.

I have no idea other then what I've said for years, that I hope he gets his ass into gear and get some music out there.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Re: What next for vv
Who knows he maybe looking for a place to live, not sure he owned the house. But I have no doubt he will find a psycho hose beast Vinnie bot to hold up with and name her Meredith then plan his big comeback album with T-shirts , new music all included in a box set released at a $10,000 seat gala performance. Right after he sues his ex-inlaws for some bogus reason.
In the mean time you can buy one of his art deco frames off of the Nashville craigslist..

Re: What next for vv
What he should do right away is issue a statement, simultaneously apologizing to the fans for his past behaviour and say thank you for the concern and sympathy towards him in relation to Diane's death. Maybe do this at the beginning of a new youtube video that premiers a new song from him. If not that, SHOW UP TO THE ROCK 'N ROLL HALL OF FAME!!! FORGIVE AND FORGET, OR DON'T FORGET BUT STILL FORGIVE. I'm sure Ace and Peter aren't thrilled with Gene and Paul's constant tweets but they're still gonna be there.

He also has valuable instruments that if sold should buy him a year or two.

Re: What next for vv
I've often wondered how Vinnie's made a living these past 20 to 25 years. Surely royalties from the 14 Kiss songs with his name on them would only carry him so far. I've heard on here that he has some sort of import business, but, you know, Vinnie. He's terrible with money based on everything I've heard/read about the guy.

Re: What next for vv
joe his royalties go to kiss anyway in payment for all the cases he lost against them for not paying him enough money on the Lick it up tour. We suspected his wife was supporting him but who knows now. He must have a huge guitar collection to sell. the thing is he never declared them on his bankrupcy papers so he could get in trouble for that but not sure.
The owner of Rickenbacker said he had a collection of RIC's and he has at least to Jackson VV's, and at least 8 more no Jackson VV's including the 4 from NAMM. He also has some RR V's and he must have his old Gibson and Fenders acoustics and Carvin double neck all that he could sell maybe.

Re: What next for vv
lets say his NAMM guitars make $3000 each which maybe hight but not sure. Then he needs to pay the maker out of those.
After that he could surely sell his Jackson VV's for $7000 to $12000 each and the non Jackson ones for $6000 to $10000 each so if at least 75k in his VV model guitars. The way he lives not going anywhere he could live off that for about 3 years I bet.

I was saying in abstract terms nobody will find the end of pi. It's infinite. You'll never become Margaret Thatcher, either.
Until you find the irony in the song "you're so vain", you might want to work on your social skills. It is not a love song. It's not complimentary, at all

Re: What next for vv
I have my doubts we'll hear from Vinnie again, musically speaking. I don't think there are enough fans to care, frankly. Plus, when an unearthed track featuring Vinnie on lead guitar was debuted last summer, it was met with merely a whimper here and elsewhere in the KISS community.
I'm fine with the music Vinnie has left behind, between the Invasion, KISS and various other projects. In particular, I think stuff like the Treasure album contains some of Vinnie's finest, most unsung work. (Would be nice if some KISS-era demos/rare tracks are knocked loose.) Above all, I wish Vinnie the best. He's one of my favorite guitar players and that doesn't look to change anytime soon.
