mrblitz stuff

Post by mrblitz »

here's a recently completed 'album', and this month's fawm.org efforts so far:

odds and ends:

fawm: http://fawm.org/fawmers/mrblitz000/

what the heck, here's the album from before odds and ends, 'mutation': (i guess it has its moments).

it's really fun doing this sort of thing. my only regret is that i can't get it to sound more 'pro'. by the same token, maybe that's the charm of it; sounding like a demo tape.

anyway, i typically find a drum track, then add 'bass'/'keys'/vocals/guitar. it's called 'wobble rock'.

Sound more like pro is all about equipment I think. Start with a good music card or something like line6 tone port get some mics and someone who know how to set eq and knobs. That should be enought good quality for most of the people and even too good for people how listen to today's radio music  (no offence to anybody)

mrblitz, I immediately think NEW YORK for some reason.
It is really cool to hear shredding and King Crimson-esque exploration within garage rock .
Very cool that you have incredible instrumental sections ranging from video game sounds to Phantom Of The Opera to Blizzard Of Ozz to ...
The cool and spooky vocals are fucking delicious. 8) 8) 8) 8)

I like a band called The Strokes that has a similar uncleanliness to their music.

I will listen to this a lot while abusing this forum.
