Nashville 2018 - June 23
Nashville 2018 - June 23
The Nashville Expo has a date! June 23!
I was kinda hoping it would be called a Vinnie-Con Or Vinnie Expo. Maybe that could change at a later date?
You can get the info from here: https://www.lakissexpo.com/nashvilleexpo

Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
Guys, from my point of view, this is pretty close for you, lol.
I once drove from Leesburg, FL to Nashville in one day, so it can be done.

Aye from Miami here and a Florida expo with Vinnie will be AMAZING!!KraigoWaffles wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 11:31 am C'mon Kiss Expo TAMPA.....or Orlando (fingers crossed)
But wait I don’t drive so traveling will still cost me the same haha.
Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
My dad once drove me from to Miami to Indianapolis for a KISS expo.
Never again lmao.
For New York and Atlanta I went by flight and now I will again for Nashville in June (;
Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
Ha ha. Google lists me as being 15, 030 kms (9339 miles) to Nashville, so driving is OUT of the question for me.
I see Indianapolis is a bit bigger drive than I did, but it's in your region, especially if you're somewhere on the East coast. Lucky peoples.

Lookin' forward to Nashville. Already got my V.I.P.
The distance seems shorter so hopefully my ass wont be as sore.
Will be happy to see some of the same faces again, as well as some new ones.

Robert did a podcast recently and didn't confirm that he would be there and even said he wouldn't be interested unless its an acoustic show only, but I got an email about buying tickets early and it mentioned the VIP ticket includes getting a poster signed by Rob and Vinnie making it seemed like it was official? Who knows. I only live a couple hours away and have relatives that live right near Nashville so this will be a lot easier to attend than Atlanta.

Since it did say the one poster will be signed by both VV and Robert, I'm sure it is official.

I wouldn’t have a direct flight to Nashville either. I have to stop at Atlanta first. Which will bring memories to the Atlanta KISS Expo, how sweet!!
And more than 17 hours?? damn. I wouldn’t be able to do that especially when (TMI sorry!!) it’s that time of the month hahaha hell nooo.

I’m actually in Nashville right now visiting friends. But I live in Denver. Through Frontier Airlines I can get direct flights from Denver to Nashville round-trip for about $130. I’ll see you guys in June!

Mine is going to be near $300...shrug!
I'm just a dummy and new to flying (going to Atlanta was my first flight EVER...I flew for VV lol)...so can someone explain why it was cheaper to fly from where I am to Atlanta? Yet more expensive to fly to Nashville, even though it is closer? How's this shit work? lol

Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
I think summer flights are higher . keep your eye on it as sometimes the prices drop.

Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
It’s possible the price will drop???? Tickets went up $40 from two days ago. Can’t imagine a week from now. I wish the official announcement, venue and important information will be out already!! I will like to know all this stuff before buying a plane ticket. /:
Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
So far we just know the date, so you can plan your travel to and from Nashville, and your hotel, unless you want to be super close once we do find out the venue.

Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
Nashville is roughly twice the size of Atlanta and no doubt is a much more popular place to visit, hence airlines will have higher prices on more popular routes.
But, airlines have specials all the time and you never know what you might get! One airline in Australia is currently offering free return flights to Japan for about $US240 from my local airport. And that's a 7 hour flight each way!!!
No doubt some good specials will turn up for a trip to Nashville from other US cities.

Shram , Atlanta metropolitan area population is 5.7 million and Nashville metropolitan area population is 1.8 million. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of ... ical_areas
Atlanta is busiest airport in the world with most flights if any city worldwide with way way more direct flights than Nashville . https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of ... ted_States

Don't you live in Florida? I used to live in Orlando and there was an airline called Allegiant that had really cheap direct flights to various large cities. I used to fly from Orlando to KY or TN for like $100 or less all the time. I live in KY now and usually Nashville is the cheapest airport to fly out of around here. I have to drive 3 hours to the Nasvhille airport anytime I fly anywhere because it's like half the price of flying out of Louisville or Cinicinnati.HotVinnie wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 5:08 amUnfortunately no airlines at my city has direct flight to Nashville they all stop at ATL firstAnkhWarrior wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2018 4:36 am Where I am coming from direct flights are available. Re: Nashville 2018 - June 23
Another thing to keep in mind, and this sounds like it makes no sense but I swear it's true...the price of tickets changes daily and for some reason if you book them on a Tuesday or Wednesday they are cheaper (not the flight itself, I mean the day you physically purchase the tickets online). Last time I went to Japan, the airfare was like 1800 when I was looking on a Sunday. Then I literally waited 2 days and the exact same ticket dropped to 1300 on Wednesday, then by Friday it went back up to 2000, all for the same flight still leaving and returning the same time. The same exact thing happened when I went from Nashville to NYC last summer. $500 on Friday then I look again on Monday and it's down to $250.

Fair enough! I just saw the 472,000 figure listed as the population.
There's no DG Podcast in Atlanta, so I stand by my comments that Nashville will be more popular!
