I’m building a VVV guitar

Post by fgi1986 »

I’m having the body built by a local luthier and guitar builder. The neck is an 80s Chandler (Jackson-style) neck with dot inlays and reverse headstock. I have a vintage (probably 80s) Seymour Duncan active pickup and Demeter prototype mid boost preamp from 86, so I’ll use those. It will be painted all gloss black. Any thoughts??

Oh yeah, and a Kahler flat mount tremolo bridge instead of a floyd (Kahlers are my favourite bridges!)

Widdley, diddley! Those Kahlers can get a good wang wobble happening.

Damn ball ends though, like every other type of non Floyd bridge.

Two shades of black to differentiate between the fins?
