My VVV

Post by evh5150 »

I had this made to be a Carvin replica. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Looks nice!

...Rare electric guitars... I almost bought one recently (HS Anderson Madcat tele), believing it was a true japanese model... I'm glad I saw it was a fake and didn't buy it. It seems there are more and more chinese fakes on the market these days, with sellers trying to hide where those guitars come from.
That's why I hate Rare electric guitars.

So what are the specs on this one? Wood, pickups, trem etc? Did you have a choice?

Was the neck and body put together somehow? In that last pic the body is just by itself and complete? I'm just wondering how it was made.

Vic,
Cameron was sending me photos of the build in progress.
They definitely have unique assembly techniques.
It made me question if the finished guitar was the same one they presented during the build.
Obviously, the guitar is of a lesser quality than a Jackson or Palecki AZG.
It will more than satiate the need for a VVV.

They love their set necks at that place!

I hear you guys, I can't see a joint like normal for a set neck so I'm wondering how it's attached.

They cut out the neck pocket like a bolt on before glueing the neck.

24 jumbo fret, I forget the scale measurement, I'll measure it in the morning. It has a real floyd rose special, wilkinson pickups. Dual volume controls and one tone control. It plays great and has great natural harmonics all over the board.

So you can spec the Floyd you get? Do they do a case for it?

In the Email they said it would be a licensed floyd but when I got it today it had a real special on it. It doesn't come with a case. I have a case I use for my firebird that fits it perfect though.

I'm really happy with it, I think I'll probably put some Duncan's and a brass block in it but other that thank it plays incredible. The people are very responsive, they really worked with me on what I wanted and offered to let me make payments if I wanted, Shipping only took a little over two weeks.

That is absolutely incredible! I can't believe how great that guitar looks. Are you happy with the sound? I am not very familiar with Wilkinson pickups.
