R. Smith didn't use that in the early eighties.
Faith, Pornography... Great albums. I'm sure Vinnie would like "One hundred years"! :

No, that guitar comes from South Corea and it's new. Smith has been using it for maybe 15 years or more. In the early eighties he had mainly Jazzmasters or Fender guitars. Great Cure concerts when Porl Thompson plays. There was also a Schecter Thompson model years ago.

Ah, that's what I was wondering, if the design was older, so it is.

I never followed the Cure so don't know their gear.

I do like the Cure. I just like a good tune. Don't care what genre, which artist. Good tune is a good tune.
In the mid 80's, early 90's when I was in bands I made sure I listen to as much different music as possible. Mind expansion shit, if you know what I mean.
Check this out Bowie 50th with Robert Smith. Brilliant!

Reeves Gabrels is one of my favorite guitarists. Has played both for Bowie and with Robert Smith in the cure.

And Reeves Gabrels in X WORLD/5 with Andy LaRocque (of King Diamond)

Reeves Gabrels also has played on the Stevenmarque Society

an Album with former AnA Black Guitarist, Jessie James aka China. Jessie Jmaes/China has played on Alice Cooper’s Brutal Plant Album and in the band Sinisstar.

everything is 6 degrees of separation :)
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Smith with a Parker guitar :o .
Reeves Gabrels, cool. I remember seeing on TV Bowie with Tin machine in the late eighties. I thought he (Reeves) was close to Living colors guitar player (don't remember his name...). Well, that was just an impression.
Compared to Sinisstar, Smith is so romantic!
As you said, 6 degrees of separation, and that's great!
