Ric 620

Post by tukoztukoz »

I've just got this beautiful rickenbacker 620 mg 12 strings. First I ordered a 6 strings - not available. I didn't want to wait too long, so I asked about the 12 strings, and they got me a reduction.
I've decided to get it to a 6 strings, because you cannot do that much with a 12 (jazz chords, solos...). I'll remove the tuners too, without Breaking anything, so it'll be possible to have a 12 again.

Except Tom petty, I didn't think of any famous guitar player when I ordered it. I just found that Fred Sonic S from the MC5 had a similar Ric 400, Maple glow, 12 strings turned into 6... Cool!
