I played that guitar last year when I visited the GJ2 workshops. It's pretty cool, but not my thing.

Jackson would do zolatone finishes on every guitar if that's what the customer or guitar store ordered. In 86 they only built guitars to order so the sky was the limit.

Interesting Grover used this finish/colour on his personal player.

Wayne charvel used it also

It's funny, I like the smaller Charvel logo on a strat but prefer the large Jackson ones, ha ha.
