Guitar defects and faults : what solutions?

Post by tukoztukoz »

Since I noticed several defects on some of my guitars, I thought about putting it here, to find the best solutions... The idea is to name the guitar model, show a picture of it if possible, and then propose a solution (if there is any...)
I'll start with my Jackson Gold 30th anniversary I already showed on another thread. Problem with frets/binding: the E-string sometimes gets stuck between the binding and the fret (frets one to five), producing noises.
I imagine putting some superglue to fill the gap... Any better solution?

Get them filed round.....maybe?
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

Sounds like we need a call to the Scratchy Rat for an expert solution!
