Christmas Present Guitar

Post by Slayer »

So my pal Tom Jixter Tate (Jixter Claus) left me a box of guitar parts under the tree for Christmas and I finally got time to go to work on this bad boy. It is yet another Frankenstein creation so what could be better than to have a Frankenstein Movie Graphic on it. This shit is too much fun but it is small time compared to some of the other great guitar projects currently going on by members of the V.V.F.F.

I will probably replace the volume and tone knobs with lime green ones

Enjoy,

Kev

Nice, just saw it in the video. Who made the neck?

So you had the graphic put on?

He bought the neck off ebay as a scratch and dent Charvel / Jackson after market replacement style copy neck. The graphic was already on the body and it looks like someone laminated on a Warmoth Body. It is not in the same zip code as perfect but it looks pretty cool from a distance. Most of my stuff isn't perfect anyway more player quality and the good part about that is not being hyper concerned about the guitar getting bumped or hurt.

Too much fun!

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.

mmmmh, this might be edging closer to our standards of operations. Then again Fratello Kevin, we are highly qualified experts in our fields, so we might be HARD task masters if you know what I mean. Vanilla might just cut the grade (unless we're in rehab). And Rehab is for quitter, & I'll be damned if we are going to end up a couple of quitters. :D
