Cool!

I'm sure your PS 10 is in a better shape than mine.

Paul would get a heart attack if he saw it...

Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever sell that PS 10, because it is the first guitar I bought, just a few months after I started to learn how to play the guitar. Memories came back to me today : I took guitar lessons in a music shop, and there was that PS 10 in the shop window that made me salivate each time I came by. I found a job during summer and after, I could offer it to me (I payed 1200 CHF, 1$=1.60 CHF at the time, so 750 $).
Vinnie just did the first Invasion record at the time.
Serial number is gone, and I didn't keep any paper note from the shop. I wonder now when it was built. I read on Ibanez PS 10 sites that this guitar was produced between 1978 and 1981. So it stayed at least five years in the shop, that's a long time.
People who are selling that guitar now ask big prices for it, like 4500$. If I had known that in '92...
Anyway, it is still a PS-10 and it rocks!

Still have this. I wonder if the numbers and letters at the bottom - ht 290 8 80- mean 1980.

Maybe some occupation for the next long winter evenings: redo the original PS10 shape and make a cracked mirror version...

Some sort of a grunge spirit hit me in the early nineties... Heavy metal was dead. I tried to sell that guitar at the Time, and nobody wanted to buy it, so I took a saw and butchered it...
Silly me...
Can't believe this is more that 20 years ago!

I did that with car filler... Not very comfortable, once I made my wrist bleed by hitting the guitar too much.

That was the guitar hanging on the store, yes.

I want to try different mirrors (real or plastic) to get the same kind of cracked mirror as the original. I have to be careful with the weight (now the guitar is 3 kgs heavy).
