Barcus Berry amp

I took this in on a swap for labor on a guitar repair, it had a front end overload and trashed the two front IC op amps. Got lucky and found a stash of compatible IC's at a electronics store in the city.
Its a solid state amp 240 watts :shock: loud as hell and has a really cool jazz blues voice to it, I think mainly due to the speakers. I have no idea who made the speakers trying to track them down, they have a odd ohm load 2.4 ohm.

Yeah, it sure is!!! Just needs a brown guitar to finish it off.

This a dino amp. I believe some famous rock guitarist used barcus berry for a while. Trying to think.

Barcus Berry wa salso famous for theur acoustics guitar preamp, also uised by a certain James Patrick Page for the acousitc work with hsi group,LZ.It adds depth and body to an acoustic guitar piezo system and also can add a lot more body to the Variax acoustic simulations.
