They're the ones made in the new Indonesian factory about 2 hours north of Oz but are cheaper to buy in the US?????!!!!!! :(

Hang on. They are built in Indonesia and they export American basswood for their guitars. Surely no need for that. I am sure some excellent wood grows in Indonesia and basswood of all.woods to export ???

They dont import the Basswood, more of it grows in Asia than in the US, its just a wide species there. Theres like 20 or more trees that qualify as Basswood or tilia.

On the specs it says American basswood unless that grows in Indochina .

Well I stand corrected... That is odd. especially with a ready supply there. Makes me wonder if the bodys are cut here.

Makes me wonder if they have "American" basswood trees over there.

These aren't as premium as I first thought. I was hoping there were made in Japan.

They're getting good reviews. Appparently they are very well made.

The cheap Jacksons are made in India now. Sheesh, you can pick up an Adrian Smith RDX for $500!
