Ibanez S7420 7 string

Post by shramiac »

Anyone own or played one? I've always toyed with idea of having a 7 string even though I've only played the Jeff Loomis Schecter and found it hard due to the baritone scale length and thick neck. Ibanez dealer in Oz is shipping them at $899 but I've read mixed reviews for it. Mainly due to it's construction in the cheaper Indonesian factory! There is the Korean made RG but it's a non trem.

Hah! Just saw that Musicians Friend has it for $699. Still getting ripped in Oz!!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

If I was going to get an Ibanez it would have to be a Japanese one.

I'm not into 7 string guitars. 6 is more than enough for me, I have nothing to to give an extra string.

If you want another guitar at that price point look at a Charvel!!!!

I bought a used Ibanez Universe with a broken headstock for $200.00 at a pawn shop a few years ago . The parts are worth more than that !!!

It's fun to dick around on.
