Tremol-No

Post by Genebaby »

Any of you guys used one of these? http://www.tremol-no.com/

Coming under pressure to be able to play songs in Dropped D with the band but still wanting to use my newly setup for Eflat Charvel Flame Up I remembered there are some things like this which will help with this.

All my guitars that I have set up really nice and like to play live are in standard E, which I don't want to mess with once they are perfect. Save the Bullseye Charvel which I am still working on a good setup in Eflat, as my backup guitar now.

Rather than taking a third I'll try this unit, possibly with a D-Tuna as well, to lock the Floyd for diving only for most of the time.

i've used the tremsetter, it was a bit difficult to setup, but it really worked. The arm become a bit stiffer, but that was ok.More sustain too.

This one is easier to place and it think it could work well.

Yeah, I'm glad that there is no extra drilling with this unit, and it should give me what I need out of this guitar for the Drop D stuff, along with the Dtuna. Never had one of these because all my Floyds floated before.

There is a bit of soldering though!

I have a few of those in two identical E.S.P. Vintage Plus guitars. I can do without them.

You don't like them or you don't need them in those guitars anymore?

They do the job. I could just care less to have them in the guitars.

Fair enough. I need to be able to drop tune with a Floyd so these are required.

That's why I can care for the Floyd recess . I remember Brad Gillis being the first guy that I knew of to do this modification(cutting the wood from under the Floyd Rose) to his guitars.
