Do you have any V's?

I'm not super fond of playing them anymore, but love the look.

I did mention that I don't have any pics, decent ones, of the Monster VVV. When it's reborn I'll do some photos and try using it out with the band, freak out the people around here.

The first one is a Jackson Custom Shop PCS (Players Choice Series) Original Rhoads. It's a replica of Randy's second Jackson, which he only got a few months before he passed away. It has a 3 or 5 piece neck, tall skinny frets and the smaller sharkfins. When they made the next ones the shark fins were bigger, which I actually prefer. I got that one in 2000 and the white one shortly after as more of a player, plus it has a Floyd.

They certainly look cool. In the 80's it was Randy, Vinnie, Dave Mustaine and Kirk Hammett I liked playing V's. All Jacksons.

Rudy Schenker and Paul Stanley played the Gibsons.

Peavey Vortex. Always wanted one of these.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.

Nice stuff Kevin. I got a Bolt-on (ibanez) VV body. Got to pull my figure out, get a neck, pickups & hardware.

Dannii,
I had a blast putting it together and when I was done I took it to my luthier and he dialed it all in and set the harmonics and intonation. I'm a shitty painter but this fucker plays way nice! Did you buy the body from Deep 9 Guitars off Ebay? This guy does nice Ibanez replacement work, custom work and would probably have a bunch of stuff that Andrew would like.

I wish now that I had a good auto paint shop friend myself. There was another post on the board in the last year where a dude posted one like ours that he had an auto paint shop paint blue and silver and it came out SWEET! Super glossy and shiny!

my black v is now finally finished...BUT the floyd i got for under $40 is a piece of shit, i have only played it for a couple hours, 3 strings popped at the same time, the 1st and 2nd strings cut into the floyd nut. you can clearly see and feel the lines. DO NOT get a floyd rose from guitarpartsonline.com, the necks are good, their floyds are shit, go to guitarfetish.com and get one of their floyds, or get a floyd rose special. once i fix my v i will post a video of me playing it.
