I worked on VVV Vinnie's guitar, the Jackson and the Carvin. There is some photos but nothing accurate. So, I decide to work on his guitars and I hope one day to make all of them.
I start today by what it seems to be the student model of the first VVV model made by Grover Jackson in 1986.
Why student model? Because of the simple fingerboard with dot inlays instead of shark inlays. The floyd rose bridge instead of the Non-Fine Tuner tremolo systeme that Vinnie used on all of his Jackson guitars.
And the pink is lighter than the "real" pink he has on the next guitar. There is no white binding on the headstock. And why the white gaffer on the guitar? I think that Vinnie was searching for the best design of his guitar. Should it be full pink or white with pink edges and silver wings.... It was an easy way to see if it looks good or not... We all know the answer.
