Definitive list of amps?

Apologies if this is a dead horse... but with no group stickies on what is surely an important topic... I have to ask.
Is there a definitive list of the amps VV used on each of the VV albums?
I was able to find a ton of info on the guitars he played- but I'm looking for the amps he plugged into.

The list of amps supplied by Milanino was a good start... but I'm hoping someone here has a line on maybe studio notes or photos.

Thank you in advance for any help you're able to provide!

It's something we'd all like to know.

Debut album was a mix of Laney's, Marshall's, Duncan's and a favourite Boogie head (if I remeber correctly), that we saw in the now infamous "circle of death/Amphenge" setup he used during the making of the album.

How big is the company ?
Did you model the tone or is it just a super high gain pedal?
What are the knobs ? Can't read them un the commercial.
Sell it,man, SELL IT !!!!

You are meeting Vinnie for the first time this weekend.
How did you collaborate on the pedal?
How many interactions were had ?

How big is the company ? Size doesn't matter. We've been around for 15 years... we've got several awards from multiple outlets including an induction into Guitar Player Magazines Hall Of Fame.
Did you model the tone or is it just a super high gain pedal? As we describe on our website- we modeled it after the amps Vinnie used in the early to mid 80s
What are the knobs ? Can't read them un the commercial. - Visit the website for full rundown
How did you collaborate on the pedal? Many phone calls, Emails, private video and audio exchanges
How many interactions were had ? Many

I'm happy to answer questions but not I'm not here to spam VV's fan board to sell the product- that's what OUR website is for.

Spam away, Brother.
We are interested. VERY INTERESTED.
As for the "big company" question, I am sure most of us prefer a smaller company to make the pedal.
The devil is in the details that would get lost with a large company.

Will there be a video made this upcoming weekend with Vinnie displaying/demonstrating this pedal ?

That would be my personal selling/buying point.

For instance, I recently bought an ISP pedal that has everything in it... even a gate.
I am genuinely interested in the PTVVFS pedal.

I am sure many pedals have modeled a hot Marshall 800/900 tone...
What are its qualities that make it stand out from other pedals ?

What is the modeling process?
Do you run the album through a computer ?
Not being a dick here. Genuinely curious.
Thanks,
Rick

Will there be a video made this upcoming weekend with Vinnie displaying/demonstrating this pedal ? No not this weekend. With luck we'll be able to lock a session down this summer.
What are its qualities that make it stand out from other pedals ? It sounds good... and a large % of the proceeds go directly to Vinnie.
What is the modeling process? Honestly- years of trial & error... and experience. Transistors as tube replacements... We popularized this method when we released the Jason Becker Distortion
Do you run the album through a computer ? No... We're not trying to deliver VV's sound... we're delivering emulations of the amps he used to GET the sound.

From a marketing angle i think a Video demonstrating the pedal it's a must!
Vinnie is alive, it's not like he cannot record a quick video or maybe you
can get together and record it, he said not long ago that he practices several hours a day.
If a big % of the proceedings will go to Vinnie i'm sure he will be more than happy to do it!
Video would be GREAT !!!!!!!!!! Best of luck !!!!!!!

Before reading this post, please light your favorite candle and hop into a soothing bubblebath.
This post can easily be read as me being a dick but it is not intended as such.

Even though I will give you the benefit of the doubt, your answer to a potential customer SEEMS crass.
I have stated my wish that it would've been nice to have a modeling pedal of specific VV tones (harmonies of The Star Spangled Banner, clean sound of TTOY, overkill sound of BAGR,etc...)
Given that you came here searching for the list of amps, given a photo,etc... ... it seems that your answer is that the pedal gets the player near a Marshall 800 with a midrange pickup booster. Please correct me if I'm not in the ballpark.
Through your MANY conversations with Vinnie after your initial post here, what improvements or bits of information from Vinnie made the pedal customer ready ?

It would be most folk's understanding that when something is in development, the artist and company tweak things until it is customer ready. Did Vinnie have the pedal before you met him a few weeks back or did he receive it upon your first meeting ?
Thanks

Modeling specific tones was not the what we set out to accomplish.
VVs input was crucial.

Yes. It is quite understood that the pedal doesn't thumbprint specific tones.
In basics terms, is it an 800 with a mid-boost ?
Please go further ...
I am an ignorant soul.
Please ,if you would, Inform us how and what the specific minutia could be .
Given the time from when you initially asked the VVFF for assistance to when the pedal was announced to be ready for sale (approximately a month),what was Vinnie's input after you started work on the pedal ?
It's cool that Vinnie gets most of the cash. Most artists should when a company uses their name. It just seems as if the pedal was painted pink and put out.
AGAIN, I AM NOT TRYING TO DISRESPECT YOU.
I HOPE THAT YOU TAKE THIS POST AND THE ONE I MADE PRIOR AND DISSECT/ANSWER THEM.
The information you give will not result in any of us making a pedal of our own so I hope you will get more in depth with your answers.
I really believe the way you answer honest questions can lead to more sales.

Coming here for background info was simply a final step in digging up any details to support any hypothesis on the gear VV used during the era. Afterwards, VV offered some clarity, provided some details on his favorite tones and tools.
It's cool that Vinnie gets most of the cash. Most artists should when a company uses their name. Agreed
It just seems as if the pedal was painted pink and put out. There is no basis for such a claim.

I appreciate your interest. It's clear you're a die hard fan and just the kind of person I hope ends up with one of these creations.
Please respect that I work in a market full of people who have tried to emulate my products for over a decade.
If I don't answer all your questions to the detail you'd like, don't take it personally. I've learned the hard way that people who don't have the same integrity as a fan like you or I, will callously abuse your curiosity and my honesty.
I encourage you to ask your questions and accept that if I don't answer to your satisfaction, that's not proof of some conspiracy, it simply means I prefer to keep some of my methods secret.
ADDITIONALLY... give Vinnie the benefit of the doubt. He and I are and have been working on this project long before I entered into this forum with my question. It's what I do- as stated before- its a part of my process. I design what the artists want and give the fans the chance to participate & purchase if they believe it will fill a need.
As for technical questions... your best way to learn about what we've created is to watch the demo videos. Let your ears decide!

Your answers were appreciated but I will wait for a pedal that models certain VV tones. If that comes from your company then I, and many other fans who play, will line up for one.
The sales pitch didn't grab me enough to shell out money. Respectfully, it seems like it was made and packaged before Vinnie used/heard/held one.
If anything, Vinnie said to make it sound like high amp gain with a mid-boost.

I appreciate your exuberance. That said, my "must get" list has a few more pressing things on it, including a new coil for my tractor.

When I went to bed, the pedal was still being shown as not in stock when you selected the non-autographed version (the only version I am interested in). This afternoon, when I get up, the non-autographed version is not even listed and the page has been redesigned and the new wording of "All remaining units", could be taken to mean that all there will be is the 25 mentioned.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the marketing of the pedal... For now, I will be happy with what I have.

I get the impression that this is one of the things that have sadly fallen apart. It is a shame as I was prepared to purchase this. I really like the sound examples and it is not remotely dark sounding like most new pedals. However, with only the autographed version now available, it is too pricey for me to pull the trigger.

The Duncan Convertible amps look like what he's using. Jeff Beck endorsed these around the time he was playing the orange and white Jackson that kind of looked like the much less expensive Charvel Spectrum. I always assumed JB was a big influence on VV so maybe that's why the Convertible showed up there.

One interesting thing about the Convertible was that there was a panel on the top which came off and Atari 2600 style cartriges could be purchased and inserted to change the sound of the amp.

I've never seen a set like this for sale (it's sold) but I do remember a store clearing them out in a bargain bin for bout $5 each back in the early 90s.

It would be interesting to know what modules VV used. The Duncan cabinets were loaded with Celestion speakers. The earlier ones had Celestions, and the later ones had custom Seymour Duncan speakers.

They are insane amps. My friend Steve Williams from the Aussie Band WA WA NEE played through those Seymour Duncan amps. Always had a killer tone. Plus he is a big fan of the pink guitars.
