Are there any pictures around of Vinnie’s Ibanez VVV? I would like to see them!

I just found one myself, but what is the state of the Ibanez? Does Vinnie still have it?

It's fairly rare to see, there aren't many photos of it.

There is a clear and straightforward photo of it on the forum.

Here is the picture from John Carruther's shop in LA that Timstar found. John ghost built the guitar for Ibanez. It looks like the Ibz decal hadn't yet been put on it as well.

Here is the guitar from Vinnie's private auction from 2015 (I think, can't remember...getting old!) Apart from the two missing knobs, it looks pretty good. Usual tarnishing on the Ibanez Edge wang. Could be wrong but this may have been the first Ibz to get "ghost inlays"?

On the picture where Vinnie is falling the wing looks purple, but at the other pictures the wing is gold. Was it repainted?

Supposedly vv never got along with the ibanez but thats not gospel. He supposedly liked the carvin the best. Its hard to tell but was also supposedly not as into Washburn but there is footage of him recording a tune on guitars from hell with the Washburn so I am guessing he liked it unlike what I heard.
The ibanez was for sale a few years ago

Was the Ibanez actually sold to anyone? Because of those crazy high prices on his stuff.

He was asking in private quite low on ibanez. The pear sold for 2000 or less I think. I think 2000 would have gotten the ibanez via his lawyer. I don't think it sold

The Pear was $US2300 I think + 25% "buyer's premium" from Julien's.

The Ibanez wasn't going for that low a price if I remember but as far as we know, it didn't sell.....or it did, as it wasn't in the Julien's auction!

The original two Jacksons, the Carvin and the Washburn have never been up for sale though.

yeah but he was offering it via his lawyer for not too much more than the Pear a few years back.
