The Vinnie Vincent Forum - Where Freedom Rocks!

I finally found one of the reviews I have of the VVI albums. I was doing some tidying up and discovered some hidden treasures I'd either forgotten I had, or where they where.

Behold, the 5K review of ASG from Kerrang. If memory serves me Metal Hammer also loved the album. As did we fans, things were looking good, until they weren't.

In my opinion the third vv album shouldn't be called guitsrmsgeddon but should be called invincible. Vinnie Vincent - Invincible also covers the loss of the invasion word. Invincible is also an immense tune. I hope he puts out an Andre la belle version one day not a drum machine version but it's doubtful he will put out any version. Pretty sure enigma records paid for the recording so I am guessing they still own it.

Since Enigma closed in 1991 does EMI now own these recordings?

Do the recording at any point become free domain with Enigma out of business?

Fair point actually!

Enigma were merged into capital records. Not out of business as such just the brand was aborted. There is some rumours from good sources vv destroyed the enigma tapes so they couldn't use them but I am certain they would have had safeties etc. The manager at the time would have had some masters or safeties too and the producer or engineer. I guess vv produced it himself.

My feeling the ownership of guitars from hell is capital records still and not vv but re recording ep etc is vv

We need those masters, with Andre on drums!!
