Lick it up is a tune all in the lyrics... in my opinion music is second on that tune. But obviously genius for that.

To be honest lick it up is one of few kiss songs made by lyrics. Take lyrics away and you have nothing. Whoever wrote lyrics pretty much wrote song. My guess vv wrote them due to content.
