Post by Pyromax »

I was just listening to a metalshop radio show that had an interview with Vinnie Vincent.
They were talking about the second new lp and ending the glam look, and Vinnie claimes in order
to move on with the future he destroyed the pink guitar.... Is this true ???

Re-painted silver & purple with a front p/u added. Used as ASG tour back up guitar to the Carvin, then used on the EP cover.

Dowse the guitar with lighter fluid,
light it on fire,
put out the flames with urine,
use it to demolish a stack of amplifiers
and then throw it out a window...
While doing so,
practice angry lip curl.

he also claimed to have ran over it with the tour bus. none of which are true. it was repainted i believe. mark slaughter confirmed to me that he only had a few guitars. like only 2 or 3 vvv's. one pink and one white.

Hondo "Rhoads" or some other cheapie no doubt were used in the clip. Not Jacksons.

The guitar that the director had attached to him during his Headbanger's Ball visit LOOKED like a Washburn V to me.

They were plentiful around my town.

Those aren't my guitars in the previous post although I would love to have that bass.

Dana is certainly fond of his Arbor bass! He's not smashing that one in any video!

I don't think so. The KISS V was played by Vinnie again at convintions in the 90's,then went on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cardiff.

Some do not believe the hard rock one to be really the kiss one. If it is the whole thing is not in originsl color and trem not original and one pick up missing. An expert in Sweden where he was selling it said it was not the kiss one but who knows for sure

No, we're talking about the pink and silver double vee Vinnie used in The VVI, not the 3 or 4 Rhoads he used while in KISS!

The fretboard doesn't lie. The markings in the fretboard tell the story. That's one of them. Vinnie just gutted it for parts.
