KISSMAS in July hits week three with a bullet with the third installment of our Vinnie Vincent Special. If you are new to the Decibel Geek podcast, then you may not know that 2 of our most popular episodes took place in 2011 when Chris Czynszak (pre-Aaron Camaro), released parts 1 and 2 of the Vinnie Vincent special. The episodes received lots of attention across the web due, in no small part, to the then-recent legal troubles that the former KISS guitarist was enduring. Since the release of the pair of episodes on Vincent, listeners from all over the globe have contacted the Decibel Geek website asking if another installment would be coming. While initially hesitant to release more specials on the troubled guitarist, we recently had the fortunate opportunity to have an in-depth conversation with someone that worked very closely with Vinnie Vincent and had a unique, behind the scenes perspective that many people have never seen.
there will be again a podcast of exclusive photos of vinnie?
This is Rudi.

The thing he said about giving vinnie a dollar and he takes as thousand is so perfectly put. Vinnie is still doing that to this day. Also the long letter thing is exactly what he did to.me. Roberts experience with vinnie seems to be exactly the same as everyone has with him.
this podcast was awsome thanks to robert to share those words was awsome

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Been hanging to listen to this all day. 1:27am, Got to listen to it in full in peace. Fucken Awesome. Robert's a very nice guy. Chris & AAron brilliant stella work as always. Funny he seems to be more harsh on Mark than VV. But Mark was just a kid taking his marching orders. In saying that I'd be pissed too if i saw a guy miming to my voice. & to me the whole tranny glam image thing. Water off a ducks back. To me if they didn't look like trannies, there was a problem. I'm a firm believer in the theory that Rock n' Roll is a prostitute, it needs to be tarted up.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing. I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.
Funny. The rumor was in the day gfh was finished and ready but enigma went bust. Even rumors that enigma promo cds were circulated. Of course bull shit .
Listened to the last portion on the way into work this morning.
I really found the part about recording GFH interesting. Here was a guy given a second chance and he almost immediately starts shitting on it. I remember reading in some rock/metal magazine about Vinnie getting the Enigma deal. (It was one of those 2 line "news bites" sections.) I was so excited that he had landed another deal. (This was back when Slaughter was going by the temporary name Secret Service.)

It's all a shame how it came down because I think that Vinnie and Robert are truly one of those "magic" combinations. Nobody knows why it works, but it just does. Like the original KISS line-up where the guys were replaced by far superior musicians yet were still not as good for some intangible reason.
I would love to hear Vinnie work with Robert again. If I were a millionaire I would make that happen.

Yeah Robert was good for vinnie. he has said no way in hell would he work with him again. Vinnie has not changed we all know that. Robert is perfect with his description of vv. Why the hell did he shop GFH around that has to be the lowest point. Like he said he had an unlikely second chance and blew that.
Vinnie can only do well with people bringing him down to earth and Robert seems like that guy.
As for Mark I see what he says.. it takes a lot to go out and agree to mime someone elses voice. I know he was a kid but it was a low move . He got away with it though.
Really appreciate the kind words guys. It was a lot of work but fun to put together. The response has been great across the internet and we love getting new ears to the show so if you want to help, please share the link with a friend.
We tried to feature pieces of the entire album by The Sky throughout the show and, if you dig what you heard, go purchase a copy. I hope Robert gets more ears to his band from this as well. Cheers!
Hey, just wondering if this is Dana Strum in the 'The Ultimate Ozzy', Bark At The Moon intro (@00:41) .

From the stories you read, Vinnie wasn't the most...ethical...person in the world, even back before he was in KISS. Then you pair him up with Dana, who is allegedly a real dirtbag if you believe the stories. It's like mixing gasoline and kerosine next to an open fire.

I've said it before. Until he releases it, nobody can dispute it's merits as a masterpiece. As soon as it is released and people can officially critique it, he can continue to live in his fantasy world.
