Puppets is fantastic, I love that album. Metallica played 7/8ths of it last year when I saw them play which was great.

It seems you can vote more than once so I am pumping up VVI's score.

I voted for Vinnie, but it just made me think that this is another way for Vinnie to keep living in the past.

I think what he does in the band up until Black suits the band to a tee. (i think he's exhausted all ideas now)
They are typical fast (usually) metal solos. But he's obvioulsy no virtuoso.
For example......i love the solo in One, but really it's just a bunch of random shit to start followed by some other basic shit....but....it fits the song and still, i thinks it's great.
But the song overall far surpasses the solo.
It's the songs on Puppets i like. If you removed all the solos, i would still love it.
The intro to Battery alone is fucking awesome......and the awesome riff that comes along with it.
Metallica to me is more about what James can do. Hammet fills a few gaps here and there, but as a band overall they are excellent.
PS...I'm a Mega fan too. I think both bands have had major fails, including both selling out. No doubt Mega has the better technical talents but that's not everything.......And either fan side not liking the other cause they think they're not as good, to me just means their loss. (not presuming that's your reason)
PPSS....Don't mind your manners dude, go for it! I wont' be offended :) You say you don't like, i say i like. No problemo

Yer I like Metal-licker's cover of Tigertailz 'Creeping Death', but the original Tigertailz one is better.

and

Megadeath's Cover of the Tigertailz classic 'Peace Sellz' is good, but once again the Tigertailz original is better.

I just spent my lunch pumping VV votes into the site and got VV above the Ramones...and then they must've caught on because they started following me pumping votes into the Ramones.

C'mon guys! We can't let the Ramones (whom I love) beat Vinnie Fucking Vincent in a poll for the best guitar album!!

It's true, VVI is THE guitar album of 1986, not the bloody Ramones. I can appreciate what they do but they aren't a guitar band like VVI is.

OK VVFF Army. You are letting down the VVI of 1986.
And you're being beaten by fans of the Ramones of all things.

I've voted about 700 times, it's someone else's turn! My hand is tired. It's never gone back and forth so many times in my life.

I'll do my best. BTW, if any of you feel uncomfortable about voting for Vinnie Vincent, see it this way: we're voting for the ALBUM, not the person.

Because let's face it guys: one of the reasons we're all here is due to that FUCKING AWESOME first album. 'Nuff said.

It's gone! Too late! Each vote I just did was worth 0.01 %! You'd need 1000 votes to be sure to get it above The Ramones!!!
