Not one post about the 35th anniversary of VVI?
It was the greatest album ever made. How did its anniversary pass with nobody mentioning it?

I guess nobody noticed, and there was no mention in the press, sadly.

No one on The Vinnie Vincent Legion facebook group posted anything to celebrate it's 35th annyversary and there's like 2000 members. It's like everyone forgot about it.
Re: Not one post about the 35th anniversary of VVI?
That's a bit sad, but you have to wonder how many of those 2000 a real fans vs casual members with a casual interest and don't know much about Vinnie or his history. That's Facebook for you.

Maybe the members of those groups were secretly forbidden to mention the anniversary.

Tell me why, why is my love of VVI forbidden?

Invasion-albums were quite well advertised back in the day, I think. At least I remember seeing posters, leaflets, ads in magazines...And this was in Finland, Sweden etc in Scandinavia, basically. I admit that only guys who were into it, that I knew of,- were either KISS-fans or guys who were into guitar. I mean, Lick It Up was a big thing when it came out, Creatures too!!!
Re: Not one post about the 35th anniversary of VVI?
Yeah, there were plenty of adverts for KISS and VVI when they had new albums out, but you had to be buying the heavy rock/metal magazines, like i was!!! It wasn't a mainstream thing unless a band got simply massive, like a few did.
