This isn't like when people join groups like AC/DC and travel the world in style, doing lots of gigs, making good money. With Vinnie there would just not be any money. Where will it come from? Maybe, maybe some small tour down the line, but that won't happen, it will be cancelled, there will be "too many moving parts". Vinnie would not be good with Lego Technic.

If Vinnie is prepared and able to pay someone to be his singer, or in his band, so they do not need other gigs for money, then that would be impressive. Until then, forget about it. This position is not coveted, it's a poison chalice if anything.

Yeah it's not like joining a big band . The singer is basically a non paid hired hand for a guitarist who never sold a gold record on his own and has not toured in 35 years and not put out a full length album in 35 years. And even 35 years ago the singer position was hardly a coveted gig seen as it was very low paid according to mark Slaughter

Yes, exactly. Look at VVI. Dana had a vested interest in being in the band, for some reason, having had quite a bit of experience on the scene.

Robert was a professional and he left. Bobby took the gig as his first opportunity, and it did get him in Metal Edge, so that's a win. Same with Mark, another young kid from nowhere dealing with a shitty deal and treatment, until they couldn't and the Invasion imploded around Vinnie.
