MUSIC, PERFORMANCE, FOOD, WINE, SIGNINGS, and Q&A

To flesh it out a bit, Vinnie will definitely perform plugged in, we'll listen to unreleased tracks, eat, drink, and be merry. For the signings, I believe autographs are limited to 5 per person this time (we ended up running over at the Birthday Bash doing 10 per person for 30 people), but with this spanning 2 days, there may be some flexibility. Plus, memorabilia on display, Q&A sessions, and plenty of genuine hang-time with Vinnie guaranteed -- no long waits in line or limits on face-to-face time. It's just going to be another big party that blows away what you generally get with other VIP packages. Every attendee gets VIP treatment. Would love to have you if you'd like to come!

Also, and I can't speak for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if Vinnie didn't pull out some surprises in the performance. Totally shocked us last time, so who knows what's next?

The deadline is near and looking at it again, two days is a LOT of time. I know an afternoon can swing by but two days is a lot of Vinnie for sure. You'd certainly be getting your monies worth.

Is it just lunch over the two days that's provided, do you know Rip?

I have a feeling that everyone is truly welcome and ask those rust made it would be made to feel at home. Of course for many of us it won't be possible to test that theory.

On that note, I'm actively looking for sponsorship to cover my trip, and hopefully Disneyland too.

Oh boy, this time it's too much ! He should wear the VVI wig and outfit. VVI was his band, KISS never was. When will he stop thinking he's still part of the KISS family ? He never was, never will be. He's the only one they don't want to be part of the EOTR if they decide to invite former members. He looks awful in make-up now, does he have a mirror ?

I don't know about puking Ludi, that's pretty harsh but yes! VVI IS his band! While no doubt there are fans who are happy to settle for KISS material, I'd hope and wager Vinnie would do more than just that.

That said, the KISS makeup was his big break, so I'm not bothered by his choice to wear it. I can see it as him getting into a character... and hopefully shred his ass off!

He was happy to leave KISS. He shitted on them, sued them......Lately he shitted about Gene and his invitation to the vault. He did not create the costume nor the make up as other KISS members did.

He wanted to trademark the name KISS, bla, bla, bla..... Why can't he just leave them alone and move on ? He is not he Ankh warrior. The last time he wore the make up, it was a cross, there is a reason to it.

I am bothered by the fact that he always brings Kiss on the table one way or another. I don't mind if he shows up the way he is now or the way he was when in VVI. His obsession about KISS, yes bothers me. He made the wrong choice when he left the band ? Not my problem. He had 30 years+ to do other stuff on his own.

If people want to see Vinnie in KISS, plenty of videos on Youtube.

Now about me puking, I am sorry Shramiac, but the idea of him still wanting to wear the KISS make-up has this effect on me. I think it's pathetic.
Now, he can do his private gigs with his cult, share his fb group with his cult, release old or new music, merch and whatever I don't mind, if this makes his fans happy and Vinnie happy.

If he wears the make up at the Xmas party, I hope he will wear the total outfit made especially for him by Barry Carr !!!! I also hope he will sing "I still love you" exactly the way Paul used to sing it !!!! I also hope he will share videos of the party, like KISS allows his fans to film whatever they want. He believes he is still connected to KISS, then let's see him act like a KISS member.

You say I am harsh, true, I am when disappointed. I was expecting better things from him, new stuff, someone looking to the future, not someone stuck in the past. This is just my opinion and I don't expect someone to agree with me. That's not the point of these comments.

I have no problem with him wearing whatever he chooses.
He was with Kiss and it is significant.
I'd wager that most, not all, VVI fans were/are Kiss fans.
That's how I found him.
Took a punt on a CD i'd never heard of only because he used to be a guitarist in Kiss....and Wow !

But being such a big event, 2 days, I'd like to see (cause that matters, not even going haha) Do a full change up of all outfits across his whole career.
Starting with a nice porn-mo from the early days, moving through kiss, with/without make up, VVI and whatever else there is.

It'd be a hoot!

I personally am very impressed Vinnie decides to dress how he wants and wear make up and so called women's clothing. That part of the come back is something that I think is great and I am glad he has the balls to do it. Also impressed he lost weight. Got to give the guy credit where it's deserved.

People are passionate about Vinnie and that's a good thing. He's a love / hate type of guy but maybe that's also a positive.

Yeah and in a way good or bad it's good...or err in a way good or bad it's bad.
If he could just get one new song and not guitars from hell or archive stuff out .. I mean a new song written and recorded in past year this would be an achievement of mega proportion knowing how hard it seems for him. I can not see what has gone so musically wrong for vv that it appears he hasn't written a song since 1989 when starting to record guitars from hell and the only songs he is pushing for the future are still songs that at the newest
were written 30 years ago.
I am not convinced this record he said he wrote in the style of kiss exists and if it does not a chance to see it being recorded.. but why ? Why ? It's a world of whys' with Vinnie. Why is the future based on the past ??

OK, it was and still is on Youtube and in VV groups I suppose. Everybody here is aware that there is Xmas party, and that the tickets could be bought directly from VV website. I did not post the video 'cause as I said above nothing interesting to see.

OK, I will. I don't know how many people are going. From what I've seen, not so much. Those who attented the birthday bash might go again.

The fact that filming is not allowed and that people just saw a few pics from the bash is not enough to get people rush to it.

I read some comments also about DOTD in Charlotte, apparently there was not a lot of people in the lines. That's why he could talk 20 mn with some fans.

That's the way he wants to play it, so that is what he gets in return. People have opinions about him as a con man and as a person who makes gigs that look cheap (not talking about the price) but more about what he has to offer. The info about him showing up in make up at the Xmas party was baddly received as well........

Yes, it's very sucky that there is no filming. KISS do allow all this to be filmed, which is really great. You can see what other people experienced.

Hopefully Vinnie will relax that rule like how the deadline was extended.

That couldn't be further further from the truth. Vinnie is taking it back to the old days. You wanted to see a band or artist. You paid. There was no YouTube to RIP OFF Artist out of money. There were no free televised concerts. In fact it wasn't until recent years that bands started letting cameras into venues. Because this is hard to enforce in big venues, but for this event it is something that many bands do.

Yes, it's Vinnie's choice to allow filming or not, but he is out of step with the times, but what can you do?

Let's keep the personal stuff out of here, and focus on Vinnie Vincent, the guy who's taking it back to the 80's.

Funny thing, stuff like this never happened in the 80's. Hanging out with your fave rock stars on a boat or other event is a new concept to make money from fans while giving them something they want.

If Vinnie wants to go old school he should release an album and launch a tour in support.

I hear ya. I don't hang where the discussion is under scrutiny, so everything is uber positive, or there is nothing to say.

At the moment though the majority of people don't see what Vinnie is doing as very positive.

That's not hate, it's just reality. It would be so refreshing if it was the other way.

Like if Vinnie did release his music, like other artists do, and started a small tour, like other artists do.

How killer it would be if that happened?

It's 2019. Little fan parties are great, in ADDITION to your other musical activities, but it's all Vinnie is doing, along with horror conventions, which got real old really quick.

The world needs music from Vinnie, as a great big "I told you so". I hope he's working on that.

Now, if VV wanted to do it as the old ways, why did he show up in Atlanta 2018, opened his own fb page, use paypal....? He is still using the internet, so he does it the 2019 way when there are advantages for him, and the old ways for the same reasons. But the world doesn't work like this anymore. So he has to make a coherent choice if he wants people to take him seriously : be in the spotlight or remain hidden.......

Every fanbase I’ve ever been involved in has had a few bad eggs with selfish motives in mind rather than the artist or community. That person manipulated and lied repeatedly to several of us about their circumstances to get financial assistance, and we discovered that not only was her story completely misleading, but she has now also been charged with several counts of a felony crime in her state. We had no idea. We did what any other fan community would do under the circumstances, and she’s damn sure not a victim.

Beyond that, it’s really nothing that should be discussed further publicly.

I will only say 1 thing about it and this public discussion about this person will be closed from my side too. I am not part of the VV fans groups that are now public, but how come I knew that she was a moderator in these groups, that she was homeless and that she made a fund request on fb ? This person is not a friend of mine either.

I just want to point out that when you want to get the info you can find it. I was not looking for any info about her, but this person made the mistake to talk about her private life publicly and with some people that could not be trusted. What she does privately is none of our business. Are we all angels ? Are we all perfect ? Only perfect people have the right to be a VV fan ? VV is far from being perfect and asks for perfection !!!! This is what I wanted to say. End of the discussion for me publicly.
