Since I didn't receive my refund for Memphis/Nashville and never recieved my $300 swag from Atlanta, I feel a hook-up is in order.

I don't think Derek is involved, as the news is from VV own website. This website is better than facebook for VV to post official news ! I think this show will happen and it must happen !

Vinnie asked me back in 2010 about Mike Weeks. He liked his vocals on boys are gonna rock tribute as well. Mike Weeks maybe will do all vv's solos. Sad thing is I don't think it will happen.

I see maybe 20 to 30 at those prices but no one will risk flying in. it's hard to see this working but I could be wrong

All 60 tickets are still available. My prediction is he will cancel it due to lack of sales. He's charging $300 per ticket, he's only promoting it in some little secret FB group that most of his fans are banned from, and he's already burned everyone multiple times. He will be lucky if he sells 10 tickets.

I can see some people paying 300 then they have a flash sale like last time which would totally piss me off.
The ticket needs to be 50 max for all that has happened and he still won't get anyone flying in now. so he's really only hitting the Nashville market that is in his FB page, which maybe one or two people. plus he double booked. It's totally continuing on

This is probably what VV should have done in the first place. Low key, intimate sessions which are basically a "Jam". Tell a few stories, burn up and down the fretboard, no plan/agenda, share some lunch and chat with the fans, pictures/autographs in an informal environment. A series of these to ease him back into the limelight across the country would have worked well, and may well do so going forward.

I always felt the big "Shredd" shows announced initially were going to be a stretch to deliver properly for all sorts of reasons. I hope that fans can see beyond the previous problems and that bridges haven't been too burnt in that front.

It does sound like a cool event to be fair. Very interested to see if they are a success.

On a separate note, I do question the wisdom of charging so much for autographs and pictures etc.. I would have thought any artist coming back into the limelight would think twice about charging a premium for such things, especially given the controversy over the years in this case. There must be a cooler way of doing things, and this event goes some way in addressing that. "Bring what you have and I'll sign it" sits more comfortably with me, rather than having to pay extra for a guitar signature or a pic etc. This is what's put me off getting involved in VV's comeback to date to be honest. Flagrant monetisation is a real turn off.

But yeah - hope this is the start of positive things on the live performance front.

Even with some fuck ups throughout the playing would help make it funny and lighthearted

As someone who has apparently lived about 20 minutes from Vinnie their whole life and is only about 45 minutes out of Nashville it is tempting but pricey. I DID receive my Memphis/Nashville refund after about 2 or 3 weeks of messaging the VVlive site everyday. I am very unsure of how it would sound and how I would feel if I do go.

As of a few days ago you could still buy up to 50 tickets, indicating that only 10 have been sold. Now it is showing that they are "out of stock" and it says tickets are no longer available.

If it's cancelled he will blame the musicians for being substandard and he chose them over his better judgement or on the vv fans themselves. Then he will reschedule so everyone is waiting on a date further down the road.

It's quite possible thought it sold out. 60 tickets even at 300 bucks isnt too many of you think every will come with a friend you are looking at just 30 couples and that's easy to find with die hard wealthy kiss fans

Over the course of a few weeks I would check to see how many tickets had sold.

It would only allow me to put 50 in my cart...meaning 10 had been sold.
Then about a week ago I noticed I was able to put the entire 60 in my cart.
I also read somewhere someone said they put like, 100 in their cart, just to see what would happen...and it allowed it.

All just very strange. A glitch? Perhaps all did sell out? We will see soon I guess.

Vinnie hates Bobby for "siding" with Mark and Dana (even though he never really did). Supposedly Vinnie told 3 Sides he was "severing their relationship" after they had Bobby on.... it's amazing how he was okay with them constantly shitting on him for years but then them interviewing Bobby was going too far.

Well Zach. By your definition, there were about ten enablers for the Nashville show.
I don't know anyone here that could afford that trip this time.

I was waiting for the Livonia, Michigan show in July.
I guess that is off now too...before it was officially on.

If wishing good things for the guy who is having troubles getting anything going in a good direction is a bad thing ,then consider me a horrible person.
