More auctions!
There is a discrepancy in the time frame for the guitar. In 1984 it could not have had a Jackson Tremolo fitted as there were no Jackson Tremolos until 1987, when the patent for Floyd's changed and other companies were allowed to make licensed copies.
In 1984 the one and only way to have a Floyd style trem, was with an Original Floyd.

Yes, you’re right Vic. Not to say the rest of the story is wrong, just that it wouldn’t have got a JT6 wang until st least 87.

Re: Original COTN Belt for auction + Pink Jackson
Most definitely a different belt. Wolfie's ex belt (now mine again) has had the black paint wear off those two buttons. The wear to these buttons would have been the result of Vinnie's guitar rubbing against the belt whilst performing. This one being sold by Julien's appears to have NO wear at all.....which would indicate that it was used sparingly or not at all.

Pretty sure the original Floyd that was on this guitar ended up on one of his signature VVV models. The original Floyd Vinnie used was only made up to mabye 1982-83 and after that he had to find a used one or move one of his to a new guitar.

Yes, no doubt. The NFT production was stopped in the early 80's once the "classic" Floyd came out. Vinnie's first few were Fernandes built models as well. They were hard to come by until the last few years, when Floyd started making them again.
That and the fact that Brad Gillis would have got in first and bought any that came up for sale in the 80's & 90's!
