Peter Criss tell us something

Today Peter Criss approached ex-long-time KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent
in an oddly placed request for a KISS reunion. Criss announced, "I
can't wait to play with Vinnie, I remember playing the stadiums with him
like it was yesterday."
The curious thing is that it is pretty widely known fact that Peter has
never played with Vinnie, and it seems that this "approach" was actually
the first time he ever even met the guitarist.
Is he thinking of Ace? I wonder.

Ummmm okaaaaay? What's the Catman been smoking? Peter wouldn't have the chops to keep up with Vinnie in any case but... it'd still be cool!

This doesn't sound right. Was it from last week or from years ago?
Remembering playing the stadiums with Vinnie makes it smell fishy.

I know it was pretty well known that they wrote material together at the end of the late 80's but nothing surfaced

You're thinking of Mark St John and the band was called 'The Keep'.

Not sure if you guys remember, but Vinnie did write and shop quite a few songs within the Kiss family. Peter covered Vinnie's song "Tears" which appeared on Peter's 1982 Let me Rock You album. I also vaguely remember Peter and Vinnie performing together at some point but I can remember what the occasion was.

Peter and Vinnie have definitely never performed together but Peter did attend a VVI show back in '86/87.

He attended the asg album launch as well. It's ace he's talking about and some dude just switched names for a laugh or totally made up.

I think he is talking tears. No registered vv peter criss tunes and we all know vv would register all songs as he is so paranoid.
