Vinnie's House - Updated

When I first saw the pics from Vinnie's abandoned home, I have to admit it was pretty disturbing. I live in Nashville, and have driven by the property a few times over the last three years in hopes of catching a glimpse, or perhaps a chat with one of my childhood idols. I first read yesterday that the home was for sale, so I decided to go take a look for myself. As I walked around the property, I was overwhelmed by feelings of both sadness and concern. These pics were taken earlier today.

The house doors have been locked. The LPs have obviously been sitting there for awhile. I didn't feel the need to rummage through the pile, although I couldn't help but wonder if there were any rare collectables, or some signed stuff buried in there. Guess I'll never know.

Someone already been through them. There is a signed alive 2 by Paul and gene which is why they will be dianes. They were brought outside a few weeks ago. All in very bad shape

True. The photos from the "Vinnie's Big House" thread tells me that many others have already been on site picking whatever items they deemed collectable. Does anyone know when Vinnie abandoned the property?

It was January of February I think. We were of the understanding vv got the smaller house in the divorce settlement but that appears not correct unless he couldn't keep up payments or just wanted to get out.

Relatives went through the house and took valuables, personal belongings, etc... that belonged to Vinnie's ex-wife(R.I.P.)
That is why the inside looked picked through even though it wasn't.
Nobody except us knew that it was abandoned.
Only two people were at the public auction for the smaller house.
No one cared except a forum elder who had the day to attend the auction.

If anything, our VVFF member probably straightened the house up a bit.

Ya never know your luck in the big city.
A piece of that wood fence might end up in a guitar.

I've never seen the smaller house on the property that VV lived at in any of these pics... just a utility shed?

Im always confused about what-s the big and the smaller house, the shed is a shed only but not sure how the houses were divided.

2 houses. One which is more visible from streetview was smaller second house which vv moved into after he and diane separated. the more famous house Internet speaking is the smaller one that vv lived last few years in.
The shed is not the little house.

What is funny is that both houses are similar in size. TRUE.
The "BIG" house isn't that much bigger .

Yeah. I mean the second house. I guess it was used as storage before vv moved in

id say they spent 15k at least. looks great now. guy next door said they tore up old tile floor and redid most everything. amazing what a coat of paint and regular upkeep can do to a home.

He did not sell any house, he just lost it.
