Ted Poley from Danger Danger - that's a man who really loves his with his fans and knows how to deal with them!

I met him here in Sweden during a meet and greet-session before his show last year and he's by far the coolest, nicest and most down to earth artist I've ever met! We all had a great time during the meet and greet-session, Ted was happy, signed records, took photos and was constantly joking around.
He's in Sweden right now and is supposed to do a show next week, and a few days ago he wrote me on Facebook something like "Hey Eric! How are you? Hope to see you in Sweden next week!"

I think a lot of artists could learn something from him.

I recorded the meet and greet session and parts of the show with my iPhone and then put it all together in this video below, check it out! :)

It's not fair.
I'm American, living in Germany, working in Africa.
So VV's going delete me because of this?

It is great to see someone appreciate what they have. Vinnie had a higher proile than Ted yet Ted is still out there pressing on . That looked and sounded like a great time.

I would prefer a night out rocking with Ted compared to Vinnie at the moment.

I got the same e mail, Cernex. Vinnie needs to seriously consider hiring a manager. Freebies are good publicity. Who pays $500 annually to join an entertainment forum?

Can I pay with Monopoly money?

What manager could work with vinnie? You tell him its not going to work and vv would fire the guy on the spot and send him one of vinnies famous long letters.

It's not going to happen. Even the fans he HAS on the "free" forum can't afford $500 for something like that. Ridiculous.

I have no idea. I just had a thought. Uh, administrative decisions are part of a manager's job. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Paying an hourly wage for a "yes man" is a rip-off.

I thought Vinnie had pretty been "manager-less" since the 90s, deciding instead to all stuff on his own. Seemed like a good move... until he went batshit insane.

he is best to forget selling anything and let someone do everything for him. Maybe his daughters would be a good choice. The only way for him is having someone take full control of his affairs and not even consult him.

Dino is correct, a lot more would be done, released and sold. Vinnie would actually MAKE some money, rather than with holding things for huge sums that nobody buys them.

Sales = $$$ Vinnie.

No sales = $0.

Don't forget guys and gals, for $500 Vinnie has only posted once in that new forum, and that was only the forum rules!

The one person who paid up and accepted the "contract" for membership (fake maybe) has not even been answered by Vinnie!

By this point, I'm beginning to suspect Vinnie is shooting himself in the foot with an Uzi... and in purpose.

Why else would anybody make a forum and site with the sole purpose of getting money... and not even bothering to make sure the paypal thing works?

However, John K. has SERIOUS delusions of grandeur. That and the fact his own version of Ren & Stimpy bombed horribly...

No, no, Nick's version of the show was super shit. They did not like JK's crude jokes bit he did it with intelligence and shows like Space Madness are classic. The Nick episodes were crude, unfunny and shit, it was sad to see them ruin the show.

This is all about the original show, not the Adult version which appeared later, I have some of those but am not really interested in them.

I have the collector cards, the comics and used to wear the t-shirts to work.

I think the earliest with John K were the funniest! When they were gay and living in a homelees guy's mouth.....blah! Not so funny!

My older sister (who was horrified by all Ren & Stimpy) and I still comment on people with really bad rotten teeth as having "Ren & Stimpy teeth"!!!!

You forgot the bit were he was actually ALWAYS late when delivering the episodes. Take in account this was THE VERY SAME REASON why the second "version" of the show flopped so fast: John was only able to complete three of the nine requested episodes on time.

I'll accept that Space Madness was quite the classic. But so where a couple of others, like The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen and Ren's Bitter Half weren't all that bad either! The show slowly did go south after John K. left, no question about it.

Just saying, John K. only did one season and a half. There are definitely more good (and well remembered) R&S eps than just "a handful".

John K was a genuis, he didn't fare well against the coporate ways of Nick.....hmmmm, remind us of anyone?

Almost the first two seasons are great:

Stimpy's Big Day
The Big Shot
Robin Höek
Nurse Stimpy
Space Madness
The Boy Who Cried Rat
Fire Dogs
The Littlest Giant
Marooned
Untamed World
Black Hole
Stimpy's Invention
In The Army
Powdered Toastman
Ren's Toothache
Man's Best Friend
Out West
Rubber Nipple Salesmen
Sven Hoek
Mad Dog Hoek
Haunted House
Big Baby Scam
Dog Show
Stimpy's First Fart
Monkey See... Monkey Don't
Fake Dad
Stimpy's Fan Club
A Visit To Anthony
The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen

With Stimpy's Fan Club being a totally BRILLIANT episode. Ren's dementia, breakdown and ranting are are at their peak. His answers to the fan letters, well, just everything really, is fan-fucking-tastic.

Can you tell I like that one?....lol....

Ah, it's just simple Mathematics; $500 X Vinnie Vincent = A FAT ZERO. You can apply this to any amount of money, you'll always end up with 'A FAT ZERO'.
From Guitar Hero to BIG FAT ZERO.
Brought to by the makers of 'Turd on a Stick' & the Family Board Game, 'Where's My Boxset???'
P.S. Coming Soooooooooon!
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.

He's basing his entire financial future on eventually winning a lawsuit against KISS that will result in him receiving an approximate $6,000,000.00 settlement for (what he perceives) as unpaid royalties due him for CREATURES OF THE NIGHT, LICK IT UP, and REVENGE.

He does get royalties every day/month/year for these contributions, but he feels that they are not enough.

His big problem now is that, because he has annoyed the court system SO much with appealing the decisions, that after the last court case it was decided that Vinnie Cusano had to pay for Gene & Paul's legal fees and the cost of the court...a total of about $80K. Since Vinnie doesn't have $80K, he has tried to declare bankruptcy...several times...unsuccessfully.

So NOW the court is going to garnish his wages (the money he gets from the KISS royalties) until the debt is paid off. (The part I do not understand is, I think Gene & Paul are trying to get ownership of those royalties permanently to pay off the debt. A dick move to be sure, but Vinnie DID bring it on himself with the constant litigations.)

So, without the KISS royalties coming in...that means Vinnie is living off his Vinnie Vincent Invasion royalties and whatever money Diane earns at her job. You'd think this situation would incentivize Vinnie to release new music to generate income, to actually do a REAL endorsement deal with a guitar company to actually sell guitars at a reasonable price and to get back into doing some paid appearances. (There is also some rumor that Vinnie is doing some songwriting for some well-known country artists...but I'm not sure if that is real or just people making up stories for fun.)

That would be awesome. Do you remember where the article was at? Got a link?

Which VVFF member spotted the elusive Spyder...errrr, Vinnie trying to sell his songs and where did the spotting take place?

(Sorry if all of this is in another post, but I only remember the tantalizing post that he was selling country songs to a well known artist.)
