he is just saying it out of spite for Slaughter. He will not re-record. Robert F also said publicly he would never work with him again anyway.

VV is caught out in a lie again...Why did VV re-record 'Shoot U Full of Love' with Mark singing if he didn't like his vocals. Like you said 727, it all talk to spite Slaughter.
VV needs to get over KISS & the Slaughter stuff & move on. If you keep looking in the rear view mirror you going to crash.
You can't rewrite history. What is done is done. Say sorry to your fans & people you have swindled (It's not that hard VV), take responsabity for your actions. Deal with the now, look forward & release some new material.

i think vinnie was trying to make a compliment to Robert but it reads like he has full control of Robert. I think he is meaning that Vinnie himself would sing but its hard to totally say for sure. Just giving the vmeister the benefit of the doubt here.

From the Gibson.com site:

Vinnie Vincent to Re-Record 1988 Album
Peter Hodgson|07.05.2011

Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent is planning to re-record the second Vinnie Vincent Invasion album, All Systems Go, with the band’s original singer, who was ousted in favor of future star Mark Slaughter.

The self-titled debut Vinnie Vincent Invasion album of 1986 featured one-time Journey singer Robert Fleischman on vocals, with Dana Strum on bass and Bobby Rock on drums. Released in 1988, follow-up All Systems Go featured Slaughter on vocals. After the band fell apart amid contract renegotiations with record label Chrysalis, Strum and Slaughter went on to form the multi-platinum band Slaughter, while Vincent re-teamed with KISS to co-write a few tracks from that band’s 1992 album Revenge, including lead track “Unholy.”

In a statement, Vincent said he planned to re-team with Fleischman to recapture the feel of his original demos and the first VVI album. Of All Systems Go, Vincent said: “Once the recording sessions were underway, it became painfully evident the production, sound and lead vocals were simply poor, lackluster and pale in comparison to Vinnie’s first Vinnie Vincent Invasion.”

The statement went on to say that Vincent planned to re-record All Systems Go, “the way it should have been recorded with the Vincent production, inclusive of all guitars, bass and vocals which would bring back the ferocious, over-the-top sound of the first Vinnie Vincent Invasion album, with Robert Fleishman on vocals.”

I think court case could arise from what I hear. Does anyone speak with Mark to confirm the rumors?

mm i dont know what say,i really like the work of robert fleischman, here is my reason
1.-Robert for me in that times he never have a image for a glam crazy band, everybody knows robert was a voice and he still is.
2.-Mark was that frontman pretty like brett michaels so he was and have a diferent kind of voice that was the unic point,so the first record was with a unic voice the voice of robert and was unic;mark voice leaves a flavor on the the all systems go.
3.-In my opinion how you can change that magic of the records they are diferents you list and you you know the diferent character of mark to robert.
4.-So is just like you take the magic away changing the real singer of the two records.
BUT IF THIS IS JUST A PLAN AND IS NOT GOING TO BE MAKE IT I AM GLAD,IF THIS REALLY GOING TO HAPPEND I AM SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AND IM ON SHOOK BECAUSE VINNIE KICK MY ASS WHEN HE WAS WITH MARK SO MARK IS MY FAVORITE SINGER.

I know everyone keeps saying that Vinnie has a great voice, I just can't agree. Maybe it's just not to my taste.
He's great as a back-up, but I'll pass on an album with him singing lead. (OK...I'll buy it and listen to it, but I won't be happy about it...)

Face it. We heard that albun. We heard most of gfh. Is he just going to put out different versions of stuff we heard. Why can't he make new music? Has he answered that? It's like the painter who keeps painting over his painting is going to ruin it and he won't make another one.
Vinnie has to move on. He lives in the past. He is a prisoner of his past. Shed it and just make new stuff and

I did buy Cat #1:
It's not terrible, but it's certainly not great. The best songs are those that are clearly not written by Peter. The production/mix is pretty muddy.

I did buy One For All:
This is a truly terrible album. Poorly written songs. Terrible compositions. And though some may deny it, Peter is singing flat on most of every song!

I did buy Cat #1 when it came out but have no memory of listening to it.

One For All is the one I'm thinking of. I got it cheap and singed and it's really, really bad. And this is coming from a guy that likes his '78 Solo album and also Out Of Control. Dirty Livin' is a great song too.

I don't mind that whole album. I discovered it in the 90's. Even in Australia which was Kiss mad in 1980 and loved Unmasked and Dynasty I have never heard that album before I saw it in a second hand record store.

I checked it a few times to see if it was the Peter Criss from Kiss. Being on Casablanca and having Aucion on there made me figure it was legit so I bought it. It's not too bad. It's no Lick It Up, but it's not meant to be.

Of course now Peter tells us how much drugs he was on when he made it, ha ha.

I have Peter's first 2 solo albums after he left KISS; Out Of Control and Let Me Rock You.

The problem with both of these records is that Peter clearly didn't have a style/direction/vision that he was artistically driving for. They both come off passionless and disjointed. The second album has better production, but it's still all over the place.

I respect the "One For All" album in that he had a vision and he went for it. The problem is that he needed a real producer to help work out the arrangements and make sure he was singing in pitch!! There was potential with what he was trying, but he doesn't have the skills to pull it off by himself.
