Yes, I just noticed that, the Carvin looks terrible. Hopefully it can be removed in the future without hurting the original finish.
But my god, what was he thinking?

Sweet Jesus! "It'll be better than the original guy that sang it!"
Yeah if Mark was stuffed in a toilet, flushed into the sewers, processed at the sewage plant and then spread over a farmer's paddock......nah! Mark would still sound 1000% better than this wannabe!
Obviously he was over-excited and crashed & burned. Shame he swore his head off in front of a 10 year old too!
Glad it all happened though and I hope the rest of the evening faired batter!
Now then....when's recording on new music starting?

I think it is a nice tribute to Tom Paleki's AZG /Pear Guitars. (Considering that VV no longer has any of them, but I DO!)

That Pear is crazy good dannii.
Someone told me that carvin is a different carvin to the one he was seen with last year but I see it as the same one. I can not imagine he had two carvins and carvin confirmed he only had one made in 1989. Anyone else see that there is any possibility that the carvin from yesterdays Christmas show is a different guitar from the 1988 one ?

Always nice to see Tom’s VVV!
What’s written on the back of the neck?
Did Vinnie give Tom the guitars back ? That would be cool.

Vinnie did not give Tom's guitars back, he's been selling them when he can to fans.
That one is a special one Tom made for Danni.

Not looking to stir the pot at all, but what's the reasoning behind not releasing any kind of video (or allowing anyone to take video) of Vinnie's playing these days?
If he's playing as well as everyone says he is (and I've no reason to doubt that), why would any artist/performer not want that footage out there?
I mean throw us a bone Vinnie man. I want to know what's up - get me excited for some future project or something...

For sure. With the way things work these days some footage of Vinnie playing like a mofo again would zoom around the world in seconds and renew interest in him and his projects.
It defies logic and reason that you would not want to bolster your standing by showing what you can do.
Let's face it, people love the 80's, so if Vinnie is back there playing wise, this would be major news. Tours could be booked, recordings could be scheduled. The world would be Vinnie's oyster, or mollusc of choice.

He did one unreleased song "Over You" on his Yamaha acoustic guitar. His voice was very good, I wished I Was close enough to actually see that notes he was picking, but he still played it in the same key the original version was played in. This was after the shredding he did as the intro when we came into the room. Thats what I wanted to add.

The stuff that Rip said he got?
I do not remember any recordings being played. It seemed most people wanted more Q&A, I personally was looking for more live music... but from there a few people asked about the karaoke. The autograph line took a long time.. and I didn't event bring anything to have signed, I was looking for more live music. Vinnie still plays both electric and acoustic guitar very well.

Talking of Christmas, you can now celebrate the festive season by purchasing your very own guitar ornament signed by none other than Vinnie himself. These are the Christmas ornaments from the White Tree on the stage of the Merry Metal Christmas show. According to the VV Euphoria Group on Facebook, they are priced at $100 for the regular ones, and $200 for the ones with more detail.
I wish I was joking.
It's great to see Vinnie back and I really am a big fan of his work, but this kind of activity really does leave a sour taste in the mouth.
