Thanks Birnie.
I start the stroke at the T and end it with the top of the P then add the two vertical strokes and the rest of the last name.
Been doing that for a long time and can't even remember when I started doing it. I think it may have been when I was at
the Art Center College of Design in the early 70's. Did a lot of product design sketches back then.

Hey gang, the new case for Arjen's guitar is finally in progress at G&G Case Co. and I think it's going to be a beautiful thing.
Do stay tuned. It may be here as early as the end of next week. Will post a pic of course.

Almost done with Arjen's guitar. Finishing up wiring the electronics by tomorrow and then it will be alive . . . .
Here it is with a big smile . . . . and I'll post a full shot tomorrow from the front. (minus the smile and a better background).

The guitar's smile is reminding me of the Rocky Horror Picture Show
But this guitar's a beauty! The color scheme kinda reminds me of Vinnie's Kiss makeup :3

This was the one my mates and I called the "choke to death bar"!



Milo is a similar malt chocolate, drink powder to Ovaltine...only it tastes 5000% better! So some wiseguy decided to make a chocolate bar out of it! It used to explode when you bit it and if you happened to breathe in at the same time....coughing fit!!

Well, it's finally done and here's the result:

The headstock wing looks a little odd in this photo cuz I did a little Photoshop on it but it is nice in real life.
I was also hurrying to get the pic posted. Overall it's a beauty.

Thank You everyone for your comments and praise. It's too bad that the white pearl, as subtle as it is, doesn't
show up as much as I'd like it to in the photo. I guess we'll have to wait until Arjen gets it to hear his reaction.

.. after some stress it's ADRENALINE SHOT!! No, the guitar is not home yet. But after being stuck at customs for three weeks things are going in the right direction!

Three weeks in customs?....what are they doing, playing it every day?.....man, that is a long time in customs. Is that usual for you?

Seems we were missing an invoice for the guitar so I sent them one and copied Arjen and that was all that was needed.
I hope! Anyway, they will be forwarding the package soon if not already.

I'm not sure what just happened but we just had an INVASION!!

I do not know how to upload photos here so I made a photo folder on my fb which is public. If anybody can explain me how to upload photos, please. In this case I can post a few more when I have daylight.

there's a website that I use that with change a photo into a code that will open up in a forum.
It's called imgur. The site is http://www.imgur.com
So you just drop your photo onto a page labeled drop it here and then you can pick how you
want to get it into code and they have some choices to choose from. You'd want the one for
forums.
You can also start a scrap book there to save all of your photos for future reference or use.

other things I've worked on.

For Arjen and anyone else:
By the time I was done with the finish, there are 12 coats of clear on that guitar.
I usually put on 3 + but this one just cried out for more and it's very happy as it is.
