Fuck Yer!, there will be a video posted of the Super Dumper Guitar. Currently I'm renovating my house and more than a little weary of pull it out (the guitar that is :P )
When it happens, the kind folks @ VVFF will be the first to see the demo.
Maybe Vic has some video footage of it in actions from when he recently visited.
Can't remember if we did Video or not.....
Vic do yo remember?

Is Vic responsible for that little ding on the guitar? If yes, did he get the right punishment?????

What are those plugs/switches for?

The middle switch is pickup select. The other things are pickup coil select for bridge and neck pickups. They actually come attached to
pickup rings which I cut off so I could mount them near the select switch. Also you can see them much better there when you're playing.

Just noticed too that you can see the Prizm sparkles in some of the shots in the black area's. Out in the sun they really pop out.
There's also sparkle pearl in the white parts. It really pops out too when viewed in the sun.

I see. I first thought there were holes instead of those four tiny switches.

How many different sounds can you get with all those switches (with the three toggle switches)?

Two outputs too! Crazy!

I think it's 4 different sounds per pickup.and most likely 4 X 4 = 16 for both together. Then that X 3 for the pickup select = 48 ?
Any one else can chime in on this as I think my brain just popped out of my left ear.

When there are that many options, I just try to remember that even when given a lot of tonal options, Brian May avoids some on his guitar. Some guitarists just like having the options ,which I can respect, but give me a guitar with as little knobbery ;) as possible for live performance.A studio performance is a different story. The Aurora Invader is by far an ELITE INSTRUMENT !!!!

Ha ha, I was very careful with this guitar, I even helped set up the Floyd and get it tuned to E.

That picture is good but the video did not turn out very well, too dark etc.

Here's a pic I took of it in the case though.

Hi Dannii,

Just checking in. Wondering how you're getting along after some time with the new axe.
Is it holding up to your punishment?

Hey Buddy, been meaning to call you. House Reno in total chaos, so I've hidden the Aurora inVader to avoid it getting hurt.
Last day of current employment today - as I'm writting this. So I'm just waiting to the smoke to settle on all fronts, the House Reno & finding a job before getting into fully shred testing the beast. Just got Aurora (my Daughter) an Avid Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 11 - as part of the inVader Setup for this guitar (there will be a shit load of external hardware to hook up to this guitar) Will be mind blowing when it all comes together.

Man those closeup shots are killer back at the beginning of this page. Good luck Dannii on all the things you're dealing with.

I've just been ordering new parts for the White and gold VV build. I need to get to the lumberyard now too for the some more soft Maple for the wings. Got the basic neck blank cut out and will be milling on it soon. Will also start post pics of the build, etc.
