I will flat out give you my honesty.
This is the best example of your playing you have given us.
You played that melody with conviction and your faster playing is starting to make sense to the point of being able to discern what you are saying musically.

About that horrible lick.... my wife gets irritated when she hears stuff like that
I think it's part of Vinnie ´s style (see the end of side B of the invasion lp).
when I play like that, I feel like butchering everything around me. Then I ´m relaxed
