since i had to stay home to deal with some issues, i did turn on my effects processors and my looper and came up with those two new pieces:

the first one, "trapped under ice"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHeOCeowjtM

all the music was created using an electric guitar.Images by your's truly.

then this one, "LUminographies:Jellyfishes, scars and memories":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdc_Eb6OsY8

again ,i've created both the images and the music, the music was improvised on the spot, using an electric guitar some effects and a warped mind.................

it did take quite some time to create and elaborate the images and the proper text, but i like it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50EHfPaWMsg

AS always,an electric guitar,a looper and some effects.NO synths, music is improvised, all the ssound are generated by the guitar processed with some effects(mostly Line 6 filter and mod pro and the ensoniq dp/2)

And a warped mind,of course:P

the music was improvised on the spot,no looper, just playng, warts and all.

thanks so much!
it means a lot for me.

I had a great time making the music up, a bit less creating the vid and choosing the words for each one of them,it takes more effort, tryng to convey the images with words and music and keeping the right balance.I hope i did.

The pics of the last vid("sadhana") were taken from my balcony.................

On the 29th of december i've performed briefly for a photographer whose pic was slowly appearing to the public( an old analogic process).Since the pic did show sands in the desert,he asked me to play something related to the theme.

I did play with an ebow and then with a guitar i've assembled. There were some technical glitches and also, i couldn't reproduce the same progress about the pic itself,so i've taken some shots i did and performed an improvisation similar to the one i did play then.

Here it is.The music it is improvised-a few mistakes here and there- using a fretless 12 string nylon guitar and a yamaha magicstomp and a looper and then straight to the disk.

I had fun .

The pics were taken by me from my place,as usual.

another one, sort of acustic mode

This time i've used a variax 500 in open tuning, a DOD milkbox,a behringer preamp , the ensoniq DP/2, into the looper.

Pics were taken by me.

Cool, I like it. It makes me want to record stuff again...

Something happens with the pictures at 2.25, when the images stay almost the same, but little black spots appear suddenly at the bottom of the picture...

thanks for youyr words:), glad if it makes you want to record again.

Those little black spots are fishing props,it is not easy to understand due to the size of the picture.

new vid for today........subject a bit heavy, coming from real life experience, but here we go:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7myvhvZPExI

i've used a CASIO MG 510 MIDI guitar,a Kurzweil Micro Piano, and a Roland super JV 1080 4 expansion expander, the RC 50,direct to disk.

another two videos, similar images, different music:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKhwaJ-Dafw

Red Moon rising next to the Vesuvius.Music improvised on the spot.I've used a CASIO MG510 MIDI guitar, to play the msuci in the background(using a Roland JV 1080 4 x Expansion) and a Variax 300 nylon string classical, with just a touch of delay and reverb.Because of the amount of images, two pieces were patched togehter.

Another one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ucf_YxjRfA

Moonlight over Naples. This time i had to work around the limitations of the Casio MG 510 guitar(especially in the low and high register),tryng to create a credible piano part.A two note unison chord( the one in the upper register) was obtained playng harmonic over the neck pickup, quite a challenge gettin right. Both background and piano parts were played on the Casio and the Roland JV 1080 4 x Expansion expander.Again many images, the pieces were patched together, but each one was improvised.

All the pics were taken from my balcony.

just uploaded two new ones.

In the first one, i used just an eletric guitar and an Ensoniq dp/2 patch i just created

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiPqeuRXQbE

in this one, the electric guitar goes into a danelectro wasabi, a DOD milkbox compressor, into another ensoniq dp/2 patch:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rF8vhy_u2D0

Playng was a lot of fun, creating the images and fiding the right sequence for them was much more demanding......

back from the Dead  ,four new vids, music improvised on the spot:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CoQZxWjeWc

Used an ebow and an ensoniqDP2 for the static "noise".

2) the music of tha tone was created using a digitech timebender and the ensoniq dp/2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUKHwvmn37s

3) that one requested a slide, a korg ampworks and the ensoniq:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xkvet78xy-Q

4) that one was created using the digitech timebender and the ensoniq for the background and then the red vantage guitar with the GFS neck pickup, the roland GP8, the lexicon alex and the ensoniq for the "lead" part, basically a third rate rookie attempt at a gilmouresque ripoff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDkZaaF5JRI

All the images and videos were shot by your's truly during different times..............
