At the risk of looking really stoopid, but hopefully others have the same question as me.....
What does it mean to be a 'bolt on'?

PS. Personal fav is the VV on the couch with the square inlays, yummy yummy :)

What's great about bolt on necks is, after I set it up, I can take the neck off and package it up in a smaller box for shipping. It would save a lot on the v's.

Does that include the guitar painted/finished? For $750, that is an absolute steal. What other inlay options are available?

Mind you the guitar does come with the cheapest hardware I can find. But you can pay for upgrades. I also offer an expedited build for $500. I will have it done in 3 to 4 weeks. only because it takes 2 weeks to get everything and for my job to get notice Im not gonna be there.

Just so i don't come across as a time waster, i'm currently not in the market, but if i was Monster would be the man. $750 for a custom guitar is so cool and iw ould walk around town saying "I have a custom guitar" ;)
So can i still ask questions cause the whole thing it very interesting?

So, if shipped dissasembled, is it as simple as grabbing the cordless scewdriver and hey presto, new guitar?
I should it be taken to a shop to be aligned correctly?

Cheers TJ

As long as you put the bolts in the neck right, yeah pretty much. All the intonation will already be set and everything. No need for a shop set up.

If you're unsure of yourself, it is always better to take it to a TRUSTED repairman or friend that knows his way around a guitar.

The person that does it for you shouldn't charge you anything more than the cost of a pint.

Just make sure you hold the neck in place and the screws go in the holes and don't make new ones.

Depends on who you use and the insured value of the guitar .. import tax is the killer .. the actual shipping is about £100 but just watch out on the duty from our good friends in the tax office .. the Jackson got hit for £1000 UK import duty .. it's insane but true .. at 1/10th of the value the monster will probs be about £100 import duty I'd guess
