The Stadium Tour vs Sonic Slam vs Live To Rock

Post by strangeways »

If given free tickets front row center, but you could only choose only one tour - which would it be?

The Stadium Tour (Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison & Joan Jett)
Sonic Slam (Tom Keifer, LA Guns & Faster Pussycat)
Live to Rock (Skid Row, Warrant, Quiet Riot & Kip Winger (acoustic))
"Stairway to the stars, I think I'll write good health to you." - Albert Bouchard / Richard Meltzer / Donald Roeser
"Vinnie Vincent saved Kiss. It's just too bad he couldn't save himself." - Me

I would have to go with option 1. So many original members, especially important ones.

Live to Rock.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

I would pick the Stadium tour for the simple reason of Def Leppard.
I think they are easily the best thing going on that tour.
Crue is phoning it in and Poison are not my thing. Joan is great but I've seen her plenty.

I can't afford that tour so I went to Sonic Slam 2 nights in a row.
I am a huge FP fan and dig LA Guns as well.
Love Tom Keifer too so it was a no-brainer for me.
It was excellent.

Live To Rock doesn't interest me that much outside of Quiet Riot.

I wish Brent was still in Faster Pussycat. It's sad when bands lose cool members. Like Chris not being in Queensryche, at least when they were still with Geoff when I saw them.

Agreed.
I wish the original line ups could stay somewhat intact but such is life.

I love Todd in Queensryche, but I also still support Tate as well.

Yes, it's a bummer and all that more magical when bands can do it, or at least get back together and do it again! Sometimes it also depends on who is left alive, but when they are still breathing it's sad when they can't get along to play together.

I really detest stadium shows. Especially when they aren't a dome in the summer.

I wish the Crue tour had another act instead of Poison. Don't care at all about them.
