Yeah, I dig the Crue. How good were they in the 80's? Their first home video was excellent!!

I could tell KISS Exposed was based on that format, just longer. Wish I still had that video.

I've been hypnotised by my old vinyl collection lately and listened to Shout at the Devil, Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr Feelgood over three consecutive nights just last week. Having not heard these records for the better part of 20 years, both SATD and G, G, G kicked my ass!

Too Fast For Love and MC94... Their best !!!!

TFFL is probably my most listened to album ever. That's a big feat considering that I don't consider them one of my favorite bands.

Never really bothered listening to them tbh. I like a few songs but that's it.

I swear , the first album is a masterpiece.
It is RAW.
I recently started listening to the other versions which perks the ears even more.

Their 80's albums are masterpieces and show why they were leaders of the pack, they fully deserved it. Things dropped off a bit just before Vince left, though Primal Scream was a bad ass song.

I guess the things I don't like most from 91 are the lame new version of Home Sweet Home and how bad a version of Anarchy In The Uk that they did, it was terrible.

MC with John Carobi was great, but after that I lost a lot of interest.

I knew Live Wire from the film clip (my sis & I used to laugh at Tommy's cymbal chokes with his arm), so I had a listen to it while I was working yesterday....had to switch it off half way through as it was doing nothing for me. Sorry.

Play the full album complete with bonus tracks then give your opinion.

Yeah. Fuck Motley Crue. Plus, they are some of the worst human beings to ever exist. (Don't hear too much crazy shit about Mick Mars) But the other 3 are dog shit. Beating women & children, rape, drinking & driving pretty much constantly, ripping off fans, etc. Those junkies are pieces of shit. And their sub par bar rock is the noise equivalent of cutting a cat in half with a chainsaw.

Hate to say that Mick matched asshole wits with the other three.
Seems like there was a time where he wasn't much of a Dad plus he's no stranger to drugs as well.

For sure. He's no angel, but he never killed his buddy while drinking and driving or threw his pregnant wife down a flight of stairs.

Funny, back in the day, I didn't think much of Metallica's first album because it WAS too raw.
I started as a fan from Black album and worked backwards.....
But now, love it for the rawness !
It actually makes me giggle a little thinking of them all angry bashing that shit out.
It;s awesome stuff.

...so thinking of that, I might go and give TFFL another go cause I didn't like it for the same reasons.

I can't listen to the Black album anymore, or any that came after it, the first albums are still great, but not into the Black album songs, or even the sound anymore.

Strangely, Dr Feelgood still kicks ass. Maybe cause it was the Crue, but even more powerful, and the Black album was Metallica, but diluted?

Metallica doing Stone Cold? I didn't get into it, but they did do the fantastic So What cover around this time. The last hurrah of the old style of metal up your ass style Metallica.

I'm just not a super big fan of Queen. I love three songs from The Game the most out of all Queen material. Metallica doing Hammer To Fall, that could be interesting.

The best album is with John Corabi. I dislike the voice of Vince. First album is a masterpiece.
