Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga
Anybody into Lady Gaga?
I thought quite highly of her debut album and then the Fame Monster EP blew me away.
Bad Romance is frickin' awesome I think.
I would LOVE it if her and Vinnie got together, I think it would be amazing to say the least.
I saw the Monster Ball tour here in Canberra in March just after her birthday, front row, centre. Seeing the new show and hearing the new tunes was great, well worth the wait.

She's awesome!! I went to one of her concerts a couple months ago and it was great. And holy crap. If her and Vinnie got together that would be the coolest thing ever!!

When she plays the songs solo with just a piano they come out sounding quite nice! She did it for an Aussie pay TV channel, played about 7 or 8 songs by herself. Saw a concert from England (Knebworth I think) and it was pretty lame. A lot of samples and backing track vocals didn't translate well on a big stage. I agree that she doesn't need the Madonna/Manson look. She's ain't ugly! Pity she got all those ugly tatts though! (Apologies to our tattooed friends here but I hate tattoos with a passion!) Having said all this.... no, I still wouldn't buy one of her albums!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

She's Cool...
The band she executive produces - Semi-Precious Weapons, kicks some serious ass.
I have worked with them twice in the last year...guitar tech-ing for them.
Great guys...Talented Musicians...Graduates of Berkley College Of Music.
The singer and guitar player are from Chicago-land.

Oh, I wasn't too impressed with SPW when they opened for her here.
The singer seemed overly precious and kept name dropping Gaga to get a reaction from the crowd.
The girls around me were reacting well so I thought they knew them, but it turns out they didn't, they were just so excited they were yelling and carrying on.
Gaga does seem to love them though, dragging them around the world with her and even playing their video clip in the break, which is something I hadn't seen before.

Re: Lady Gaga
Not really my cup of tea by a long shot, but she is very talented.
Re: Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga was at the KISS show I attended in Holmdel NJ on August 20 this year (my birthday). The crowd went nuts when she took her seat....
Re: Lady Gaga
Wow, that's so cool.
I saw some pics and video of her at that show, plus she met Kiss backstage of course!

Ha, I remember when I went to see her, there's this part of the show where she has the .. whatever it is, and shines the light on people and some dude in the front row had on a Kiss shirt, and she was like "OOHH! Nice shirt" and I heard the people behind me say "HAHA! Who wears a Kiss shirt to see Lady Gaga?!" .. I felt stupid because I almost wore MY Kiss shirt! Glad I didn't.

Re: Lady Gaga
Genebaby, what does Lady crow with Vinnie Vincent, Kiss and other rock bands?
I DID IT MY WAY!
Re: Lady Gaga
Are you asking what she has to do with Vinnie and Kiss etc? Nothing other than she is an excellent musical force to be reckoned with and her writing is pretty damn good. She and Vinnie would be on fire together.
I like a lot of other stuff besides some metal bands.

Well her music is not my taste, also, I think she has a bizarre and non-sense style... but this doesn't mean I hate her...

Talented and focused but not my thing. Isn't she taking a lot from bowie and Madonna?
